hrm, I should post photos tomorrow. I need you guys to tell me if my neckline is too low and If I'm showing too much. You can see my collarbones and my shirt is lowish, stops right before cleavage.
I feel like my hips are too big to wear skirts.
The more observant I become, the better I feel about myself though. I think Divash can understand this concept heart
BTW, I didn't mean to make this for women only. I find that men generally dress according to tznius anyways.

Aino Ailill I was not attempting to imply that those who cover themselves are ashamed or that those who do not are proud. A person may cover themselves in pride of their body and a person might flaunt themselves in shame, desperate for validation of their beauty. I had not intended my reasoning for my actions to extend to anyone outside of myself. When I covered myself, I did so in shame. Now that I do not, it is out of pride. EDIT: See: "My covering of it was not an act of modesty but rather an act of shame." I made the distinction. I don't really understand how you came to believe that I was generalizing all persons who dress modestly to be ashamed. I, in no place, stated this to be the case. Just...clarifying neutral FML.

I dress modestly more for personal issues with my weight not necessarily because I want to, as in I am definitely NOT flaunting what I got.
If I had the perfect curves and pretty looks that I wish I had then I would probably dress down a little more than I do, i.e. not wearings jean pants even during blazing hot 110 degree summers.
Although I did just buy a new bra that boosts up my boobs and gives me some nice cleavage. This may call for some more low cut tanks! lol

Oh I definitely try to dress more modestly. Not as much so in the fashion you speak of, but still modestly, all the same. I definitely not flaunt my boobs and butt (Well, I don't TRY to flaunt my boobs, but because I have short shoulders and big boobs tank tops and shirts often show off my boobs, anyways). ;-;
Now, if and when I have nicer legs I'll wear shorts, but they definitely will not be short enough to show my butt. I simply, personally, do not see anything wrong with showing legs.

I have short shoulders so I needed on that clips to make the straps form an X, and Target is the only place here that has them, but they're all push-up. crying

comfortably_dumb My wardrobe consists mainly of jeans and 3/4-sleeve length shirts. But... I wear flip flops all the time. gonk It's not that I like to show off my feet. I just like my feet to catch the drifts. cool I know what you mean! I dislike shoes with a passion, and wish they were simply optional.

My boobs actually look smaller being pushed up than when they are all saggy now lol And I know what you mean about needing a bra! I had to get a custom fit for this one because my old bras just did not fit me anymore! And I could only afford the one because it was like $55! gonk I wish I could get another one, a comfy non push up one for lounging in but gah...at those prices I'll have to wait til I find a job.

Honestly, I guess I dress pretty "immodestly" at times, but I do have respect for women who choose to dress more conservatively. I think everyone should be able to wear basically what they want without being hassled, whether they choose to be "modest" or "immodest."
