Kaede wawed Caeles goodbye before answering Ren's question. She paused a bit, and then replied thoughtfully, with a pinch of satisfaction and pride in the tone of her voice. "Well, they all seem nice and eager to learn. They interact with each other well, and for the most part, they just take care of themselves. You shouldn't have any problems with them." Being the head of the Dango house was to her a great responsibilty - but she took it gratefully, for she had dedicated her life to the education of the talented youth. Slightly sarcastically, she added with pretence of curiosity: "I wonder how miss Cerdwin is doing with her students..."

Ren waved Caeles enthusiastically goodbye and turned to her remaining staff. "Knowing her, she'll get along with anyone, even if she has to force them." Giggling, Ren took the menu again into her hands and flew with her eyes over the food the tea house had to offer. "I don't really feel like making breakfast myself today, so... Waitress! I'd like some Uirou and Manjuu and a cup of Sencha. Oh, and don't forget the 6 cubes of sugar and drop of lemon!" Turning back to her old friend and her assistant, Ren leaned her head on her left hand. "And you two? If I recall correctly, your class is the first as well. I can't wait for your feedback regarding the Senbei students." Ren, as always, smiled at the two women, this time a hint of maliciousness edged in the corner of her lips. She knew of Kaede's dislike for the other dorm house and annoying her deputy this early in the morning was something she enjoyed more than any normal Shinigami should.

Kaede's face hardened into a mask of absolute coldness when Ren mentioned the Senbei students. Even if she weren't the head of the opposite house, she would dispise them greatly, mostly for their atittute towards the kidou class. And this year, the kidou class will be their first... "Ah, the Senbei students. I'll be surprised if anyone manages to pass my class of first attempt." Kaede kept her voice calm and low, not showing her annoyance at the fact her first students will be the members of the Senbei house. She finished her darjeeling tea, and wiped her mouth ellegantly with a pure-white paper serviette. "Now, if you don't mind, Ren, I'll go check on my students before the classes. I'll give them directions as well, so that they will be able to find your classroom easily. Miss Niku, you can remain with the headmaster as of now, but I expect to see you when our class starts." She inclined her head shortly, to bade goodbye to both of them, and walked out of the teahouse gracefully.

The food and tea Ren ordered was brought to her table only a few seconds after Kaede had left and in an even shorter amount of time it disappeared from the plates. Wiping her cherry red lips with a handkerchief, Ren turned toward Niku. "I guess it's time for me to head out too. I've been in these clothes since yesterday, I feel horrible. Have fun in classes and promise me to keep Kaede from torturing the crackers (Senbei students) too much." She winked and waved at Niku and left the tea house, heading toward her office.

Yuki stepped into the teahouse, the familiar smells of teas and sweets danced around her nose. Shuffing her yukata in place, she sat herself down at a smaller table, sitting on a cushion in seiza position. Soon, after she picked up the menu and scanned for a tea to drink, a young waitress in a yukata came to Yuki's side and asked, "What would you like to order?"
Yuki jumped in surprise, having not noticed the lady was there. "Oh! I'd like to drink the houjicha, and I'd like one manjuu, please," Yukiko smiled. With that, the waitress stood up and smiled, scurrying of behind the curtains to the kitchen. Waiting patiently, Yuki looked around the teahouse. A few minutes later, the waitress came back and handed her the manjuu and tea.
"Thank you," Yuki whispered to the lady.
