Khamsyn sat up once Grave returned with his bag and shirt. He had forgotten he was shirtless at that point and blushed slightly. He dug out the medicines as he nodded to Grave. "I didn't fight all that well, but thank you anyways. It was a pleasure dueling you master Grave." He smiled as he began to apply the Calmia and Kassia to make sure he avoided cramping and muscle tightening, not to mention ease the flow of adrenaline a tad. "You were the one who fought well. What was that strike you used with just your one knuckle? After it hit I felt strange."

 Grave smiled, his eyes lighting up. "Ah, that was an advanced technique. It's called a One-knuckle Punch. It hits the nerves and through them the Chi lines of the body. It briefly disrupts flow of energy, preventing one from using their magic or their Rhetoric skills. But, considering that you pursue Rhetoric yourself, you might be able to learn it." Grave folded down his last three fingers and tucked his thumb under his first finger, curling it half way to form a single hitting point. "See, this is the position, not unlike a Mudra, mmn? Try it." Grave encouraged. ((This move is a higher lesson of sparring, so if Khamsyn learns it, it'll be a 45% difficulty, BUT, if you're interested, Grave can teach Khamsyn))

Khamsyn watched as Grave showed him the right hand position for One-Knuckle Punch and then tried it himself. It felt a little awkward at first and he couldn't quite figure out how you could hit with it and not break your own thumb or finger. Maybe he was going it wrong. "I must be doing something incorrectly because it seems to me you'd do damage to your own fingers hitting someone like this." He held up his hand in One-Knuckle Punch position, or how he thought it was, and stared past it to Grave with a questioning look. "And do you need to hit anywhere specific, like a chakra point or something, to disrupt your opponents Chi? I didn't get a chance to notice in the duel."

"Well," Grave explained patiently, "Because this move requires such understanding of energy lines, if someone who was not versed in Rhetoric attempted it, they likely would break their hand. But for us, you are hitting the energy, not the body. The best targets are those that are soft and fleshy, like under the arm, in the hip flexors, in the groin, the solar plexus, the side of the throat, under the jaw, etc. Places where there are a lot of nerves and not much bone to collide with. For yours, I hit in the gut, in the intestines. Lots of nerves and bloodvessels, not much bone." He gently prodded Khamsyn in each location as he said it, enough to twinge the nerves, but not hard enough to create any pain or effect on the chi. "Does that make sense?"

Khamsyn nodded and flinched a bit as Grave prodded his soft, fleshy places in demonstration of where to hit. "I think so." He responded, letting the knowledge sink in. He'd have to try the move a few times to make sure he had it, but armed with one more strike couldn't be a bad thing, right? "Thanks again, and maybe we can have a rematch sometime. Maybe I'll be able to actually land a strike by then." He laughed off his own inability to connect with Grave in the duel and stood up, dusting himself off. He bowed and then extended his hand to the One.

"An absolute pleasure, Khamsyn." Grave agreed, taking the other's extended hand graciously and giving it a friendly squeeze. "I need all the practise I can get. I'm training to be a Grigori, you knoe." Grave added softly, sort of offhand. "So any time you wish a Duel, simply send me another invitation, and I will do my best to give you a challenge. Well fought." And Grave bowed.
