I currently have three characters in Igen Weyr that could use some RP at various stages of development.
Here are their names, arranged in order of RP priority. Their actual RP search profiles are not in any particular order.
Tyekpo & Rian (Same priority level; two seperate characters)

About: The last born of three brothers, Bachi really shows it. He has a drive to win and always be right and he is very offended when someone tells him he can't do something. He has a temper that's hard to hold, but he's an extremely loyal friend once you get underneath his thick head and hard outer core.
Transfer to Igen Weyr: Bachi came to Igen with his brother Bakin for a number of different reasons. One of Bachi's main ones would be to escape the watchful eye of his brother while maintaining a desire to Impress. He is excited, though overwhelmed, by the faction aspect at Igen Weyr and can probably be easily persuaded into one faction or another.
Noteworthy other stuff:
- Bachi loves green dragons. Unfortunately, he's not the most fond of green riders. For this reason, he tends to stay distant and watch most dragon riders, and he is secretly dissapointed that they are not what he had invisioned.
- You know those guys that will sock you if you insult their mother? He's one of those. It's partially because he's often looking for an excuse for a fight, and partially because he really does hate people who would dare to say such henious things.
- Bachi does not know he's homosexual. It is assumed by at least one brother (Balin) that he is straight and Bachi himself has never had much of an interest in girls, but he's always assumed that it's because of he's too busy doing other things.
Looking / Ideas / Plots:
- Any Igen member to show him around the Weyr, and maybe this can be a candidate who informs him of the factions, and if it's IC, tries to press their side's views into his head.
- Potential Igen roommates

About: Like a good loyal pet, Rian is exceedingly dedicated to her faction. With a stony demeanor, but a lava-temper stewing just beneath the surface, she demands a sense of control that is required for her success in self-defense.
Views on Factions: Rian's loyalty is to the FW and the FW alone. All other factions may go rub their face in dirt; Rian will kindly shove it there for them if they test her temper.
Noteworthy other stuff:
- Rian offers guidance to those who wish to learn self defense every second day starting a half candlemark after mealtimes and open up until half a candlemark before curfew. She welcomes those who have more knowledge than she does into the class to help as well. Only members of the Flying Wherries can come.
- Rian has a fondness for jewelry (especially of the gold variety) and nice clothes. Despite what might be said, come any formal gathering, she's more than pleased to get into attire to match the occasion. Come training and chore time, however, it's back to the tattered cloth basics.
- She has the old Weyr view that females should only Impress to golds. Impressing to anything else would be a disgrace.
Looking / Ideas / Plots:
- A boyfriend. Rian is the type can't stand to not be with someone even if it's just a "trophy" relationship.
- Someone with entirely different views than hers within her faction that she can banter with. This will not grow into physical contact as Rian only ever "talks" to Flying Wherry members and she would never strike one.
- Any friends/people she might know very well from her past (younger years). If you need a girl to fit into some sort of past conflict and you think that it makes sense for her to be that person, please fling me an IM/post here. I'd be happy to put her in any sort of history of a character made or in conception.
- A potential conflict (verbal/non-verbal) between herself and a member of a non-FW faction. Even if it's just seeing who can stack their morning pancakes higher.

About: Tyekpo is really very simple. He likes to drink, tell good stories (when given a drink), has rotten teeth, weaves leather, and enjoys complaining about the Weyr and everything else in life. He is also old, and says he does not care, so go away! (He's often lying about this last bit)
Views on Factions: Tyekpo thinks that factions are nonsense, posturing things that children do because they have too much free time on their hands. Never the less, they are a very good source of income of all sorts; competition makes for great business.
Noteworthy other stuff:
- Tyekpo spends most of his time in his room working with leather. Sometimes he'll carve wood out of boredom, and on rare occassions, he slinks around Igen Weyr leaning heavily on his cane and grumbling at candidates.
- Because he's older, generally ignored, and stays in places for long times observing things other people would be too quick to miss, sometimes Igen picks up on interesting information. He'll sell this to anyone, for a price.
- He stores the partial marks (and on rare occassions whole marks) that he has all about the Weyr; he is very worried about thieves you see. With so much alcohol on board, he often forgets where he places these, and they can sometimes be found by lucky candidates looking in strange places. Don't fear, however, over half of his wealth, however much or little it may be, is stored in his room.
Looking / Ideas / Plots:
Plotwise, I have nothing, however, he is available for:
- Pestering by candidates who want to learn fancy leatherwork (he has quite a wide variety of runner-beast bridles)
- Any Igen member looking to get information at a price.
- Any person looking to hear a story or two in exchange for some alcoholic drinks.
- Wandering the halls and griping/yelling in the general direction your character(s) especially at crucial moments.
- Smelling bad
- Being the brunt of many rumours
- Being paid off by one faction to give false information to another faction.
- Pretty much whatever else you can think of!
