He followed her pawprints as she went along, stopping when she did to answer his question. "South?" he didn't think there was anything more south than South Seaside! "That's really cool... " he spoke, hoping to wone day travel farther South, or even North! It would all be really neat to travel away from this place.
"I'm from... here." he kind of balked at the question, showing his minor distaste. He didn't have a lot of good memories in the pack. He plopped down, sitting in the sand comfortably, wondering if he should tell her his tail. "My brother and sister make fun of me a lot." he looked away, staring at the moon as a mental diversion. He would wait and see if she asked why before telling that part, and he purposefully left out the other brother... Jono. Jono was nice to him a lot of the time, but whenever the others were around, Jono could be just as mean...
He gave an inward sigh, and a mental shrug, as he looked back to Kaya, waiting to see what she would say.

The tale of Castor filled Kaya's heart with sadness somewhat, but she did not allow herself to be consumed by such emotions. "That's terrible." Her tail flickered as she trotted back over to the male, settling down beside him. At least what time she had had with her own family was built of fond memories of them. It would seem this was not the case for everybody, despite her previous ideas of what a family, a pack, really was.
She pondered whether to say that at least he in fact had a family to be around. Or question his own story further. Or, for that matter, share stories between the two. She hardly knew this one, but then again, she'd hardly known Shiva and done the same. Sighing, she decided to simply brush the sand back and forth with a paw gently. "But hey, no need to worry about all that right now. Cheer up."

The teen watched her with grey eyes, and smiled when she approached him. "Of course." he agreed, and flicked his paw back and forth, shaking the sand off before patting her on the head gently. "So. Isn't it beautiful?" he asked, motioning towards the moon shining brightly over the sea.
It wasn't quite full yet - that would be in a few days though. "When the moon is fully round, the entire pack gets together..." he spoke in a half-whisper - knowing that Mingan had probably told her already. "I'm afraid to go this time... I've been gone since before the last meeting." He was afraid they would receive him badly, or be angry that he had disappeared.
"Have you thought about going? Mingan seems to think it would be a good idea for you to make friends in the area... " he trailed off, gently splashing his nose into the cool ever-moving water before continuing, "And having a whole pack on your side is nothing to scoff at."

Nothing to scoff at, no, and Kaya enjoyed meeting new people. Still, it was a bit late, and she had not paid any attention as to how long it had taken them to get here in the first place. Nor had she followed Mingan onward, so who really knew how much farther it was beyond THAT point? At least a good ways, she suspected, if Castor did not wish to be seen but yet was with the two of them back there.
She contemplated the option. "Hmm." she spoke softly. "Well, I suppose there's no time like the present." A quick smile and she shook herself off, stretching and limbering once more. "I think I'd like to go. And you should come with me. Tonight. Right now. Fear won't do you a bit of good." She nudged him forwardly with her nose.

"N-now?" he yipped as she nudged him and insisted they go. He looked up at the sky, searching around a moment before his eyes settled on the moon - it wasn't quite full yet, but there would be wolves... The Meeting Place wasn't only for the full moon, it was a general hangout, and could be a lot of fun...
"Aha... um." he fiddled, staring at her as she nudged. Though a bit hard to manage, the teen gave a smile, and nodded. "Alright, we'll go."
(Could be a good place to mark this one FIN. I'd like to do the Meeting RP in the pack forum <3 )
