i heard awhile back Slipknot said they wer gona be bigger than Metallica. wat do yall think?

i will say that slipknot will become legends but not as big of legends as metallica ******** no. i honestly think that in order to be bigger than metallica, every song on every album has to be ******** amazingly awesome!!! thats how metallica's songs are every song is awesome. every song sounds like a hit.

I dunno. I have disagree with that. SlipKnot has the potential to become bigger since they still have the potential to do. Metallica at this point has exhausted every outlet whereas SlipKnot's career is still in it's somewhat infantile stages. They do have a very individual and unique sound that not many other bands can copy or match (except for maybe Mushroomhead)and are pioneers of the Nu-Metal genre. Because I know for a fact that they are guaranteed a spot in the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame, especially for the song "Surfacing".

I think their both the greatest bands of all time but I have to say Slipknot is more better than Metallica.

slipknot bigger than metalica HA when pigs can ******** ur mom.....wait thats already happened....alot....i mean aalllllooooooot so i guess when pigs stop ******** ur mom wich we all noe wont end soon no scratch that itll never end suck it slipknot bichs well slipknot is ok i guessish

Slipknot is a good band, no doubt.....HOWEVER....... Metallica is the seventh Biggest act IN THE ENTIRE FRICKEN WORLD, and they came after Elvis, Jonny cash, and the Beatles, so added on to that, I know that the masses no matter what country will never fully accept slipknot, or Nu-metal in general, while Metallica started in the 80's, and with the exception of St. Anger they have never put out a bad album, and I know they will put out more albums, and they plan to go touring as long as, or longer than Aerosmith, or ACDC, or even Iron Maiden, so if you Put all of that together, the leaves ony room for improvement, so in all this is what it will boil down to
slipknot Vs.METALLICA

Slipknot has it's moments but Metallica is way better by far and a century.
