He wanted to deny it, to say that he was only hearing things. A big part of him couldn't believe that what she was saying was coming out of her own mouth. She was a beautiful female, the most beautiful female he had ever seen and he was sure he didn't deserve her, how could she love someone like him? Pushing all his thoughts aside, he knew one thing, he didn't want to lose her, and if he let those thoughts take over he might lose his only chance.
"Expierence..." He stated in soft tones, almost whispering his name as he only steadily tried to fake enough confidence to say to her what he wanted to say. Leaning down, he moved his nose under her chin, lifting it so he could look into her eyes, his own eyes reflecting a hint of awe and admiration for her. "..I love you too." He gave a genuine smile as he moved to give her a reassuring stroke with his nose.

She was stunned to hear him return the words. It made her heart begin to race, and she felt the butterflies pick up again. Looking into his eyes, she smiled and felt a warmth flood her, chasing away the butterflies. His smile was enough to make all her worries and troubles dissipate into thin air. Expierence licked his cheek in return, "Jiathyn, you were my wish."

His cheeks immediately lit up just as his eyes widened at her words, "I-I was?" He stuttered a little, unsure of how to process all this information. Here she was, the most beautiful female he had ever seen, and she wanted him? Him? The one that Koi always said was a stiff turkey? A small smile finally came to his mouth and he moved down, nuzzling her cheek, "You... are the most wonderful lion I have ever met.."

Expierence nodded, unsure of what to say. She had found him to be more than what Koi had said, and what she, herself, had thought at first. He was one of the most amazing lions she'd met so far and he was in fact a great lion in her eyes. If she hadn't been lost in her thoughts, she would've nuzzled him back, but instead Expierence smiled. "You're not so bad yourself big boy," she said half serious, "But really, you are special to me. I never want to lose you," her wings fluttered as she spoke. Her cheeks warmed again as she started to spill her feelings for him. "When I wasn't with you, all I thought about was the next time I'd get to see you again."

Jiathyn's expression broadened. "I... thought about you all the time too Expierence.. I never want to lose you, not ever." He nuzzled her gently, always wanting to be at her side.

She smiled and relaxed, feeling her heart take flight. "Jiathyn," Expierence said and leaned her head on his shoulder. "You are truly great."
