How to make an Ian hat?
I'm planning on cosplaying as him in real life and need to make the hat. Also, what type of clothing do you guys suggest I get for the rest of his outfit?

I'm also going to make an Ian plushie and a Rufus hat so any suggestions and tips would be great!

I would suggest a heavy felt (But not too heavy where you can't mold it) and fabric starch.

I'll try to look for directions and hints for you on Google.

What can I have to say? I have tried to cosplay him. It's not a complete costume because I actually wanted to cosplay him next year but I didn't have a third costume for this year so I decided to go as him sooner than planned.

If I were you I'd buy a hat that has the shape of Ian's then buy brown fabric and sew the fabric to the hat.Though I'm not good at sewing so I might be talking rubbish.
