Don't get me wrong, I don't have a problem with bisexuals. I only have a problem with the ones who hop back and forth. I knew a chick who when she dated a boy, said she was straight, and when she dated a girl, she said she was bi. We both come from a very conservative location, so of course gays were discriminated against, but come on. Make up your mind.

And don't you just love the "bisexuals want to hump everything that moves" stereotype? rolleyes

yup. once people at highschool found out i was bi alot of girls would always assume i was checking them out then act grossed out. i have to like someone in order to like someone, a concept not many people seem to grasp

i feel so sheltered at my school. like, no one really cares whether your gay/bi/straight/whatever. i guess we're all used to it over all the years of knowing each other, but we only talk crap about people who actually DO hump everything on two legs.

most of my friends were ok with me being bi, but a few of my female friends and some girls in my fashion and government class thought i was going to hit on them because of how "sexy" they were. i dont find the typical sexy woman sexy (ok i do but thats besides the point whee ) i much prefer butch women to feminine women usually. though there are exceptions like lady gaga lol

yeah i have to say there are a lot of fake bi's at my school and they make me mad and then they think they can turn around and say they r straight after about a mounth. but the closet loccks behind you baby. all the people at my school seems to think that 'bi' means wants anything that can ********. or lesbian who doesnt want to say it.

Maybe people should stop caring about what others are & move on. Is it like.. cool to make mountains out of molehills or something in this day & age? If you're Bi, you're Bi. Oh well. Not a big deal. If people fake it, who cares? Ignore them. They're screwing themselves over, not you. You look more like an idiot when you chose to care about some little high school kid who feigns their sexuality in order to compensate for the attention that they apparently don't receive at home.

if they are that horrible and disrespectful to other people for no reason do you really want to be their friend?

you shouldnt have to hide part of what makes you you just to keep some rude friends

I don't believe in Bi-sexuality.
I believe in being confused.

i'm with shanna on this one. the last people i was afraid of were my friends!!! the point of them even being in your life is for you to be able to have fun and be yourself with, no matter who, what, or how you are or anything.

god, i remember being in middle school and telling off guys who made fun of my friend for being gay. and when people started a rumor about me being bi (haha, close, but no cigar, ladies) i remember the looks on their faces when i just said, "so what?" some people act and even are dumb in jr. high, but you shouldn't encourage their ignorance by not pointing out the problem in their jesting of those different from them.

sorry. ranted a bit. but the point is, if they really are your friends, they'll work on it; if they aren't your friends, they'll drop you like a rotten sandwich. the good news is finding out, because you don't deserve crappy friends.

I know it's hard for me to be bi because I like both sexes equally. For me if i have a boyfriend I eventually want a girlfriend to even out my love, but usually the guys say no. Then when I have a girlfriend I want a boyfriend, but they say no. I know I'm a confused person, but it's hard going through high school and middle school being bi because there are some people who are still discriminating them. By the time I was in 11th grade I didn't care anymore and told everyone. If they didn't like being my friend then they didn't have to. I hate when people think being bi/gay/lesbian or anything else is a choice... it's not like we wake up one morning and say, "i think i will like girls today (or boys)." We can't help it... We don't have a choice. People will go through their whole lives denying they like the same sex. I have a bi fiance and I let him be him and he lets me be me. We talk about guys and girls all the time. lol
