Apperance: Yukiko stands at 5'8, her hair is that of which can never be curled, so straight, it shines. The shoulder length brown hair of her's show copper-ish tones when light hits. The bangs of her hair, are parted from the right side of her face. So her left eye is visible but can be covered, her bangs stop at her cheek bone. Her eyes, a light caramel brown mixed with a grey and darker brown that trace the iris. The young girl's face is soft and slightly tanned. She has a triangular body, the kind that swimmer's posess(sp?). Yuki has slight curves, and her legs are strong despite their slim appearance. Her arm muscles are toned but don't hold as much strength as her legs do, but they too, hold great strength compared to most people. Yuki also has a small mole under her right eye. : )
Accesories: Yuki wears a small white gold ring on her right middle finger. There's a strip of amethyst on the ring which symbolizes the month of her birth, February. She had the ring on since she remembered arriving in the Rukongai district.
Personality: Respectful. When there is someone around her who has higher authority over her or is simply someone she's known for a long time, she always shows respect towards them. A smile, and bowing to them, referring to them by their last name plus an honorific.
Competitive. Though she holds little interest in beating someone else, she likes to push herself to become better. Seeing where her limits are and whether or not she could keep going.
Quiet. Yuki does not usually talk, unless she's in a situation where its disrespectful, or she has gotten used to a person. Because of her quiet nature, she tends not to tell anyone her problems of any kind, and keeps to herself. Partly, to not worry the people around her and also because she's so quiet.
As time goes on, more and more of her personality will be found, even Yukiko herself doesn't know for sure, what she's like. For she barely remembers anything, and she's barely communicated with anyone.
Bio/History: Like most of the spirits in the Soul Society, Yuki does not know what her past life as a human was like. But, she knows how she died, arrived to the Soul Society and the last moments of her human life.
"Looking left and right, thick brown trees loomed over me. As I looked up, everything was white, the snow camoflaged everything but these brown trunks of the trees. Even though my small, child body was covered in layers of clothing I shook. A fever was rising I was sure of that... looking for something, that's what I was doing, not sure what of... but I was searching. My fast walk turned into a run, as the cloud of each breath I took was left behind with each stride from my legs that never failed me. I tripped over a root of one of the great trees. I was numb all over, and I wasn't shaking anymore.
An antidote to my shivering and fever. I didn't feel a thing... Maybe if I kept running I'd get a bit closer to what I was looking for, then take another rest in this white snow. To stop the shivering again. In a feeble manner, I rose from the pure white blanket, patted the snow off myself, and attempted to run again. My legs felt so heavy this time, they sort of felt like I was walking on stilts, like my foot was gone. So numb, I couldn't feel them, each time I fell I stood back up and ran. Losing balance once more and toppling to the ground. Soon, I gave up, these legs I had such pride in, could only take me so far.
I curled into a ball, the shivering soon settled down, and I felt colder. My temperature was dropping to normal. It was only a matter of time that my fever disappeared and my body temperature dropped even lower. My hands and feet were frost bitten. Closing my eyes, I shuffled my small face into the snow, like a pillow. "Good Night," The small girl whispered faintly.
When her eyes opened she found herself in the same forest, the majority of the snow had melted, as if a few days had passed by. She looked around and found herself standing a few meters away from a body laying on the ground. Immediately, she realized what was happening. The girl was staring at her small dead corpse. Frightened she spun around, noticing her legs and the rest of her body felt healthy. She'd run from this place and forget about what she saw. Yes, she would. As she had finished her 180 degree turn the girl saw a bright light, and she blacked out.
The girl found herself waking up once more in one of the Rukongai districts of the Soul Society, there she found a few souls who lived together. For a couple of years she resided with them, there she gave herself a name. Morino Yukiko. "The snow girl of the forest" She stayed with those souls until she grew hungry one day and was told to find a soul reaper to send her to the Shinigami Academy. They'd be able to help her, she had a gift they said. The requirement needed to become one of the protectors of the Sereitei."
