Aloe took in the information about the lesson from Kaede easily, painting a mental picture of where she should go. The request for her to be the prefect though, took Aloe by surprise. Her eye's widened in amazement, having not expected it at all.
She didn't waste any time thinking of her response though, and respectfully bowed a little to Kaede with her hands still together in front of her. "I would love to be Dango dorm's prefect." She responds, able to keep her voice in check despite her obvious amazement.
Seeing how Kaede scribbled a large annoucement about the lesson, Aloe decided she should take a quick leave. "Thank you, Miss Yui. I'll be off to the lesson now." Giving another respectful bow to Kaede, Aloe left to go to the lesson. She developed a sudden giddiness about the day to come, but focused on the directions she was given and went on her way.

Sayuri waited if any lost soul would appear. Except the girl, who had already talked to Kaede and also received instructions where the first lesson takes place, no one else entered the room whatsoever and Sayuri realised that being-helpful-mission could turn into never-ending waiting and very likely to result in starring in horror movie in role of the latecoming student. (I hope that others will find their way in time) she thought and left the common room.

As the role of the prefect has been confirmed by Aloe, Kaede scribbled next to the first announcement also the notice about the new prefect. She didn't fail to notice the girl's suprise, but was content that she accepted the offer. Aloe was able of great things if only given the opportunity, or at least that was what the house head's opinion was as of yet. Kaede watched the two students take off to their classes, and then, with a quick glance over the common room, hurried to her own class, hoping that all of her students will find the way to the theory classroom.

Trace left for theory class. He didn't want to be late to his first class so the little person ran out of the common room. He couldn't wait to see what the class and new people he would have the chance to meet. (sorry for short post. had to rush out)

Aloe walked into the common room with her class notes held between both hands. Though this was her third time entering the room, it still astounded her enough for her to slow her walking and look at everything. The various shades of blue making the place seem serene to her.
It didn't take long for Aloe to return her thoughts to finding something to do. Her first idea was to try and find a book to read from the bookshelf. It didn't look like anyone else was there, so she felt she could let herself get lost in a book for a little while until someone showed up or the break came to an end. Either way, she hadn't truly read anything from a book since she got to the academy and was undoubtedly eager to do at least a little reading.
Walking over to the bookshelf, Aloe quickly skimmed across the titles of all the books until one caught her eye. She remembered that it was a book she had almost picked out yesterday to read. 'Kidou.'
She promptly pulled the book from its place, making sure that it didn't get damaged from her moving it and held it close to her chest in one hand.
Aloe then headed to a seat, with other seats near and around it in case anyone wanted to join her. Even if she was planning on losing herself in a book, she always liked sitting where it would encourage people to sit with her rather than make them shy away. Sitting neatly and placing her notes on her lap, Aloe let out a little sigh before she opened the book. For a moment, she thought about what had happened so far in the day, about the lesson and the two new friends she had made, and her role as prefect.
Eventually, the thoughts were sent to the back of her mind as she read from the Kidou book, losing herself in the various instructions, techniques and skills that the book explained.

For the whole break, Aloe had read random snippets from the kidou book. She became rather interested in what the book detailed, and inevitably lost track of time. As she carefully turned a page, her thoughts turned to the time.
'How long has it been again? I haven't been here that long, right?' She couldn't find a way to tell the time right now, but she looked down at the page number she was at in the book. She had gotten fairly far into it for such a short break. 'Ah! Nuts.' Quickly she closed the book and picked up her notes. She then jumped to her feet and jogged to the bookcase to put the book back, though in her haste it wasn't put back as neatly as she had found it.
With the book back where it came from, Aloe made a slight run out the door and headed for the classroom.
'I just know I'm gonna be late.'
