The child listened silently, nodding a bit. Hm.. how sad... "No more good angels..." she sighed a bit. That was it.. they must have all gone. She frowned to herself.
She gave a nod again "Okay.." maybe she would have smiled, but she didn't feel like it at the moment. Not with all the good angels gone. She stared up at him, simply waiting for a direction...
She paused , looking ot her bare feet once more "Uhm..." she paused, fidgeting some "Do.. does spiro have storybooks...?" she asked hesitantly... Older kids didn't have storybooks, right? But she really missed her bedtime stories...

"There are some... Okay ones on earth. But they're different. Avery's different... Some are different."
The boy shifted slightly, staring down at the striped-socks currently keeping his feet warm. He let out a long, slow breath, beginning to wonder on where would be a good place that was nearby.. There was no doubt they could find some place on the property... It was certainly large enough.
Perhaps any normal boy would have done something like proclaim 'I'm too big for storybooks!' or something of that sort, but it was well known that Spiro was no normal boy. He looked to her placidly, "Story books...?" He moved to a stand and slipped around, opening a drawer of his desk which was filled with books. "Yeah..." He liked writing more than reading, but he still liked it. "A few.." None of them were the typical 'fantasy' ones, seeing how he so disbelieved in such things.. They were more just children's books. Well, it would be lying to say he didn't own ANY fantasy storybooks... But those he got more recently, when he found out not everything in books was supposed to be true.
