As you all know, the Tournament is due to begin very soon. And below is a list of all those entered, along with those who've read the Mass PM: ((Username | Those marked with ** have replied. All names are links to their profiles.)) 1. Samayou Tamashii **2. Hakiro-kun_777 **3. Mavrick_hero **4. Linknight (HAS NO PROFILE) **5. Noroi_san_ichi **6. YoungStunna7. archangel_honor_bound **8. SnoopE **9. Lord_Cam3ron **10. SkaiStreamer **11. .Silent Misery. **Of course, I'll update as appropriate. Now once everyone's replied to it, we can actually begin. But until then, let's post the rules: Prize Money -Each contestant has payed 500 Gold to enter, and counting 11 contestants, that makes a total of 5500 Gold! So, first place winner will win a 4000 Gold Prize, with 1500 Gold going to second place! Yes, that's 4000 Gold, and it could be yours, all you need to do is win! Who fights who? -Basically, each person has a number, 1-9 of which they signed up and are listed by. For every fight, I'll make a post which I roll an 10-sided die twice, and the two numbers I get will battle each other. After a person's eliminated, people will be moved up numbers, so their numbers will change through the tournament. 3nodding Rules -Rules basically are the same as any normal fight. If you are unaware of Shadow Arena's battle Rules, please visit them by clicking here. Disqualification -Since this tournament is offering an actual, solid prize (3000 Gold), there are somewhat stricter rules. Mainly, follow the rules of Shadow Arena, or you shall be disqualified. More importantly, if you can't show up to a fight, I'm afraid you'll be forced to forfeit. If at any time during a fight, you don't post within a half hour (30 minutes) of the last post, you'll be disqualified. I'm sorry if you have bad internet connection, there's nothing that can be helped about that. Or, if you "just had to go", same thing. You can't keep an entire tournament waiting for personal reasons. Also, if you (for any reason) lost a match, are disqualified, forfeit, drop out, or any other means of not winning, you wont be refunded. Winning Conditions -As most of you know, I, Lord Oni-mushu, will be personally judging every fight for this tournament. And you don't win based on strength, stamina, or speed. Your characters personal abilities are set by you, and just because you set them higher than the rest doesn't give you the win. I'll be judging based on creativity mostly. How creative you get with your attacks. This includes the following:
Creativity Grammar Decision-making Description
as well as how you use your limited number of posts and your surroundings. Use them all wisely. Defeating the enemy will be taken into account if it happens, but more or less, what I've previously mentioned. What Time? -Mostly, I'm wanting to have matches take place during the weekend, simply because it's easier for everyone. If you have a complaint about this, feel free to PM me. Also, if you are completely and utterly unable to make the scheduled time for the match, PM me and we'll discuss it (Please keep in mind that some situations might force you to be disqualified if no time is met). I don't want to be too strict on time, because I understand some people only have a limited amount of time on the internet, and some can't even get on when they want/need to, but we need rules to keep things in line. Profiles Everyone must have a profile posted here. To better help me judge the fights, you'll have to post a profile. Also, if you already have one, your name will be linked to it for easy refrense. Likewise, feel free to look into the profiles of other fighters, perhaps giving yourself some background info. Just warning, they can do the same to you. wink ((The following users do not have a profile currently posted: Linknight and Lord_Cam3ron. While you might not be disqualified for not having a Profile by the appropriate time, you may be penetalized during a fight. Get those profiles in... Extra -Well, that's about it. If problems with these arise, they will be revised to suit the current situation. Please, I hope you all enjoy this, and bring your best!! If you feel the need for any reason whatsoever that something isn't right, please PM me. Perhaps I've missed something, or something can't work for you. We'll do our best to come to an agreement. I want everyone to have fun with this.

This is an important announcement: The tounrament is scheduled to begin on the 3rd of December. This is a Saturday, leaving the weekend open for battles. Hopefully, everyone entering will get time off to fight there battle. I'd hate to see someone loose their shot at the prize. This will not only begin the first round, but the Shadow Arena Tournament! Remember, this is the first round, and only those that win will advance. The following is the set-up for the tournament (click them to go to Battling Thread): The opponents have been set! Remember, the Tournament will begin on December 3rd, and you and your opponent will battle it out until 10 posts are up. Only tournament fighters are allowed to battle for the prize, but anyone's allowed to watch as an audience member. It's promising to be a spectacular event. 3nodding Know your opponent well, and remember, have fun! Until a later time ~Lord Oni-mushu

This post is to determine the first 2 fighters to battle for the Tournament. It's all based on the Random rolling of dice, so the numbers are chosen by random. If a number comes up as one of the following:
1. Samayou Tamashii 2. Hakiro-kun_777 3. Mavrick_hero 4. Linknight 5. Noroi_san_ichi 6. YoungStunna 7. archangel_honor_bound 8. SnoopE 9. Lord_Cam3ron
Then that person is one of the two contestants. If the result is a 10, I'll re-roll.

Important announcement:
Due to their lateness, they wont have as much time to prepare as the rest of you. But, I do have two new contestants. It wont mean anything to most of you, because I've decided not to redo the process, so they'll merely battle each other for the first round. And remember, with two new contestants, this also means more gold for the winner! The First place prize has been changed from 3000 Gold to 4000. 3nodding Good luck to the winner!

It's here! Welcome, one and all, to the first round of the tournament! I'm requiring that all contestants check in with me via PM. Today's the first of the two days you can battle. I'm afraid that if anyone doesn't check in to update me on their situation and does not battle this weekend will be dropped. If you've got a predicament, and are unable to battle today, there's a chance we could work something out, but don't count on it. Is everyone ready? Make sure once you and your opponent are online to PM me and let me know the battle starts.
In the event that I'm not online (Extremely rare, but it could happen), go ahead with the battle if both you and your opponent are online. PM me when all 10 posts have been used, and once I return, I shall Judge it. 3nodding

At this time, I'd like to announce that the first round is already halfway over. On that note, I am severely disappointed. People, this is just sad.
In the beginning, I've had countless PM's and questions about there being a Guild Tournament. I though it'd be a great idea, so it happened. But the first round's almost finished, and there hasn't been even one complete fight! Before I continue, I'd like to thank those that did as asked. Several members have been true, and arrived on their scheduled times. Three fights haven't even been started yet. stare I do hope that something is done to remedy this, or there will be many disqualifications, with no refund.
But, if you don't show up on time, then I'm afraid it's your own fault. I've given enough messages to everyone, and made sure everyone's read them. You know when this would happen. But, if you're out, then so be it. It just means more gold for the winner with less of a struggle to get it. Hopefully the next rounds wont go so bad, or it may be a while before the next Tournament. This is just a warning.
((PS: FOLLOW THE RULES! I've examined all the fight threads thuroughly, and discovered that some people can't read. I don't want to sound too rude on this, but each fight is labeled specifically for those two fighters. No one else is allowed to post until after the fights over. One member has already been warned on this subject. Please don't make me ban people. sad It's not something I enjoy.))

Alright, after much deciding, I've come to the following conclusion:
The tournament WILL be extended to this weekend.
So, everyone who missed their date has one last chance. This tournament is supposed to be fun, but it can't be if I'm too tight with the rules. So I'll allow some leaway. Just remember, this isn't right for those who did show up, so this weekend, I will stick to the rules. If your fight isn't completed the second it turns from Sunday to Monday, then I'm afraid someone will have to be disqualified. Hopefully, this gives people more time and another chance at winning. Good luck, and let's get the fights going!
((Incase it's unclear, you don't have to wait until the weekend. If both you and your opponent are online, go ahead for it!))
