Rauko_Kokuruim I feel so proud of myself. I have successfully converted my 71-year-old librarian of a father into a A RAVING LUNATIC OF A FAN. Well...maybe not that big. (Sweet Jesus, not nearly as big as me.) But he likes their stuff, ALL of it, all the way from Missa to Marrow of a Bone. The last time he came to visit, he pulled up listening to Ryoujoku no Ame. 4laugh m(__)m I bow to your greatness

My mom likes it. But, my sister and my dad don't like it.
Most of my friends don't like it, but they don't hate it. But, some really like Dir en grey actually! 3nodding

my parents don't really care what i listen too or who i like as long as i get a good job lol, but my mom hates Diru, my dad kinda like them just not the PV, too much gore.

My Dad is just a total freak when it comes to Dir en grey... I try to play him a song and he blocks his ears and runs off whinging in a really high pitched voice 'I CAN'T UNDERSTAND THEM THEY'RE JAPANESE!'
And when I bought the Rock Sound article and mentioned Dir en grey doing an interview he suddenly went 'HOW can they do an interview? They're Japanese!'

And my Mum heard a couple of the song names and says they're 'Absolutly revolting' and reckons it's all 'Random Screaming'... But then again she reckons any heavy metal is random screaming...
But neither of them mind because my Brother listens to WAY heavier stuff than Dir en grey so they're used to it XD

No use in saying much about this
Parents=HATE
Friends=Get annoyed
Some other friends=I converted them to good Dir en grey fans
And by some other friends, I mean TWO
Class mates know nothing about Dir en grey cause I say nothing to them

My mom likes them, she likes music that's sorta gothic and such. Her favourite video is Saku. Plus, she admires Kaoru since he likes Nine Inch Nails. My mom is obsessed with NIN and when I told her that she went ga-ga.
My dad knows hardly anything about them, and I think he doesn't care.
Two of my friends thinks they're annoying, one doesn't like them because she can't understand them, and another one of my friends is obsessed with Die. The rest like them.

one of my friends like them because she got me to like them xd . my mom doesn't really care because she knows she can't stop me. i hide it from my dad because he would go crazy if he knew. he saw my withering and withering t shirt and said he wanted one. i just smiled and said no u don't and walked away.

Major step:
My grandparents know what I'm talking about when I say Dir en grey, and have since I went to the concert
They also have a vague recognition of what Kyo looks like, since he's on my desktop wallpaper and is in half the pictures I look at daily

My mom is ok with DeG. She dont talk much about them. I have asked her for once wich member she liked the most and she say Toshiya. She dont like Kyo. ^^''
My dad make fun of them. If he see Shiya he will say: Wow O.o what a hot girl !
He dont like blood... and so he dont like DeG because he think they are agressive...
I dont have friend who like DeG much. But still im a big fan biggrin

Mama thinks I'm going through a phaze ((?)) because I'm usually really random and they think I'm insane stare Lol, but I like how when I put one of Kyo's older pictures as my desktop, she says "Is that a girl?" and I'm always like eek "NO!! HOW DOES KYO EVEN LOOK FEMALE TO YOU?!?!?!?!"
I tried to get a close family friend to buy the cd for me once ((Marrow of a Bone, not the best cd to introduce them to sweatdrop )) and he read the title of the song Agitated Screams of Maggots so he was like "No, D., I don't think you really need to be listening to this stuff confused "
My sis thinks I'm crazy but at least she actually knows who Kyo is xd She thinks he's ugly but what do I care what my sis thinks? She like Backstreet Boys *gags*
And my dad hates metal, but likes rock...Hmm...I wonder if he would like to Vulger or WTD...Hmm smile
