[`I started out living in one of the tower homes we Gryphons like so much. It's a tall, domed tower with Dragan families living on the ground and middle floors and a Gryphon one on the top. The system is good, because it houses three groups in the space of one. But anyway, my father was a Chief in the Warrior League and very well respected. His dad and mum both fought in the Templais. Mother was a writer, who collaborated with others to make large and long stories.
When I got old enough, my dad introduced me to his friends in the League and showed me how to do some of the moves. I thought it was enormously interesting, and my life soon became centered on combat, weaponry, and tactics. Many saw the great strategist in me and gradually the focus shifted from training to tactics. By that time I was almost an adult, and had a healthy knowledge of both combat and stratagem.

It was during a routine battle practice that my father was gored through the eye by a spear. He died, and I officially moved out. I made my home in a tiny dome on the top of Doxa Lanx. In fact, I live in the Circes' castle; I was noticed to be good enough at what I do that I was invited into the king's war council. I made house in a small room with many ledges and lots of straw, so everything was perfect. My life was punctuated with odd trips down to the ground, where I saw the Dragan who lived off the mountain and studied different approaches an army could take on the city. I can tell you, the things the council speaks of now are dark, in light of the Darklings that now move on Doxa Lanx.]

[Azhdeha is a relatively young Dragan. His mother and father were killed in the great war years ago. he never knew them. He was taken in by a family friend and raised as one of the House of Huntington. Azhdeha became a soldier because of the influence of his adopted family, all were warriors and his parents.

He spent much of his younger years from around 150 to two hundred wandering the world and learning. He is a deep lover of lore, myth and poetry. He spent time in the grasslands and the Vales and all over always learning, never staying in one place. His parents had traveled whenever they could and so he met many of their friends along the way. His contemplative nature and warrior status make his question, examine and think about the meaning of war often from viewpoints that confuse and confound his friends.]
