Uuni was quick to find something to dry herself with, the cloth quickly hiding anything that she would normally have no problem exposing.
"Don't act like that, Kess. Don't," she whispered with a vocal chords that were slightly taught.
"You know I don't play Avery's nonsense card games," she added with a grin. It was partly faked and partly honest. "I'll see you tomorrow." This time, an honest smile.
But it would be at least a month before she saw either Kesslan or Avery again. Enough time, at least, to wash away the insecurity and turn back to 'normal'.
