Theory;
Evil Timmy didn't have Edmund to cure him, so he went through a similar path that the regular Timmy would've gone through. As a result of this, he's going to come back and plead to get fused back into the Aduly Timmy, which will turn him back into the regular Timmy, and will completely get rid of Evil Timmy. Gene will take note of this, and will begin to form a Smooth Jazz army to attempt to re-create an Evil Timmy.

I can make a crazier theory addon.
And when they fuse together, it creates an explosion in the space time continuum causing us all to be sent into a past Gaia where Gambino is still a poor child and Timmy's parents lead Gaia.
