Mesatsu_Gouki Passion_Dragon Mesatsu_Gouki I'm not black *i'm cacasion* , but I don't call my black friends either, I just refer to them as chocolate. Because chocolate is awesome. And so are my chocolate friends. razz [*squee~! welcomes you into the guild*

I kinda like it when people who know me call me "chocolate." It's kind of cute. But I wouldn't recommend just throwing the word around at random people; you might offend them.] Well of corse, if I don't know them I just reffer to them as African American. I don't really like the term black, because well...most of the time they arent black. They're brown! [I'm fine with the term "black," but I won't force anyone to call me that. As long as it's what you think is respectful. 3nodding ]

i was one of those people Passion_Dragon mentioned. i tend to be offended by that 'chocolate' remark, not because it's derogatory toward Black people, but it seems to have a sexual innuendo that 'Black' doesn't. i guess i'm not really offended by it, just weirded out. sweatdrop

Haha, well the whole sexual related thing never really popped up in my mind. Your right that does sound a little bit...exotic sweatdrop Well all my African American friends know I just use it playing around, so no big deal.
