Left Over Bridge DerShtinktier I saw Alice in Chains last night, and they still have it!!! It was amazing! I also got to meet the band! They are great guys. Kickass! Lucky b*****d! Jerry Cantrell is Kickass. Was DuVall a kickass singer? As good a staley? DuVall is a great singer and has excellent stage presence, not to mention he is a damn good guitarist as well. That last bit was very surprising to me! He is almost as good as Staley, he has a great range and can really hold a note. The thing about Layne is that he had a very unique voice that no one is ever going to be able to replicate, and that is what I like about him so much; DuVall has everything else going for him except that special tone, which is good since I'd disown the band if they just had a Layne Rip off. He is a really nice guy and I think he does the band's legacy justice.

the skipping records05 Im amazed you haven't listened to Green River Best of Mudhoney and Pearl Jam. The only really good 90's Alternative besides Mudhoneys SuperfuzzBigMuff album and Nirvanas Bleach Green River is bad a**. Nirvana always just seemed like a GR rip off band to me, sure their sound was more accessible to mass audiences, but it was still a rip off. GR has reunited and toured a bit last year, once PJ is done with this tour I think they might actually do an album. I know they've talked about wanting to do one. And who ever said Mad Season had Layne in it was right, it also had Mike McCready from PJ, Barrett Martin from the Screaming Trees.... and I forgot the bassists name but I think he was from Skin Yard or something.

So have alot of bands. Soundgarden, for instance, is saying they might, (Even though they will never ever)
