The idea of these prompts is to encourage you all to write. Also hopefully they'll keep you busy between posts.
These prompts are just like the regular Shinigami Prompts, but with one key difference:
These prompts are short and quick. We do not expect to see long stories here. These prompts should just fill a few minutes here and there when you are bored.
You do still need to use a Shinigami character for these.
There is a non-Shinigami version available in the Hotel thread, located here.
The way it works is very simple:
If you want to do a 100 word drabble, you choose a single prompt from the list and write a short 100 word story for it. It doesn't have to be 100 words exactly. But try to get as close as you can.
If you want to do single sentence stories, you can pick any 10 random prompts you like or a batch of themed prompts. OR - if you ask me nicely, I might make up a batch of ten random prompts for you personally. You can even suggest a theme, or just take the jumbled up ones. Then you write a single sentence for each one. And this one is open to a little grammar abuse. Commas are your friend.
For both, remember to tell us which character you are writing for!

Opposites
Jack
Up - A flap of scarlet and gold wings and a peal of laughter took the man into the sky.
Down - He curled his arms around his legs and rested his cheek on his knees, caught up in memories.
Smile - Across the crowded dancefloor he saw a flash of turquoise directed at him and couldn't help but smile.
Cry - His frame shook gently, lips parting as a small sob escaped him and within moments he felt strong arms around him.
Full - The little redhead groaned softly, he rarely paid attention to his limits.
Empty - He scowled as he turned the vodka bottle upside down, trying to complain but only slurring his words as he tried to focus on his companion.
Dream - Curled up in the blankets he sighed happily, nestling up against a strong chest.
Nightmare - A loud cry echoed in the silent room as Jack sat up suddenly, the sound bringing no one to soothe him this time.
Heaven - His emerald eyes closed as lips pressed against his, distracting him from the paperwork that covered his desk and he realised he wouldn't have things any other way.
Hell - Hiding under the covers didn't help, not when he heard Jimmy's gruff voice growling in his ear that he'd been a very, very bad boy.

Emotions
Ilia
(The Emotional Experiences of a Young Robot Witnessing Her (Mostly)Human Brother's Birth)
Happy - She ran to her father's side, giddy with excitement when he told her that her brother was on his way.
Sad - Turning her eyes on her Mama, she saw her pained and struggling.
Angry - How dare he hurt Mama, when he hasn't even been born yet!
Confused - He's going to come out of where?!
Disappointed - Ilia wished they'd gotten the puppy instead, then Mama wouldn't be in pain.
Frustrated - Why can't Daddy just make him come out?
Weary - Mama looks so tired, it looks so difficult.
Frightened - Ilia had heard of humans dying during childbirth, what if Mama died too?
Disgusted - Ilia stared as her Daddy delivered her brother finally, completely stunned at what she had just witnessed and rather glad she didn't have a stomach to be upset.
Loving - "Hello Aldric, my name's Ilia and I'm your big sister, and I'm going to look after you."
