The Child of Aura

I've had some short and funny fanfiction ideas, so I'll post them here for the guild to read and enjoy. If you want to post some of your own, you are more than welcome.

I'll start with one.

"Ah, what a pretty morning sky!" I exclaimed. Aura, my one eyed Lucario, was not around. Probably roaming the forest somewhere, I decided. I stretched myself in a sleepy daze, and yawned. I was about to stand up when I felt something crawling on my back. What the... I wondered. I reached behind my back...
And felt something hairy. With a yelp, I jumped onto my feet, and leapt around. Turning around, I saw what had been hanging out on my back.
It was a Spinarak.
I screamed so loudly that the Starly flew out of their trees. In a flash, Aura appeared. What is it? What's wrong? he asked me urgently.
I pointed in fear towards the innocent looking Spinarak. "It was on my back," I whimpered. "Please, put it somewhere else!"
Aura gave me a long look. Then he said gently, It's only a baby. It will not do any harm. It's too young.
"They freak me out still. It's not that I hate them, they scare me."
Aura got down on one knee and let the Spinarak climb happily on his paw. Before I take it somewhere, at least confront your fear, he said, and held it up to me.
I bolted away. "Aura, just please take it away!" I begged him from a distance.
Pet him once, and then I will.
"Fine," I said. I crept forward slowly, and reached my hand out. "Please please please don't jump on me," I prayed. I touched the little Spinarak's abdomen carefully, then drew my hand back. "Okay, I touched it, now please, just take it away!"
Are you scared of it now? Aura asked.
"Not that one, but I'm still scared of them."
As Aura carried the Spinarak, I heard him mutter, Why are females afraid of such harmless creatures?

The end! I'll be back with another story soon, mates!

This one's more cute than funny, but it has a little humor.

Short story II: Pokemon Parenthood.

It was the middle of the night, and I was sleeping peacefully. Aura was next to me and he too was asleep.
Until...
"Wah!"
The cry had sounded from Aura's young son, Gad. It had only been a couple of weeks since he had hatched, and four more Riolus were yet to come.
I woke up sleepily. "Aura, wake up," I muttered. "Something's wrong with Gad."
Aura woke up, and he too was half awake. What is it?
I didn't have time to explain, for at that moment, little Gad had flung himself at the both of us, and tried unsuccessfully to wrap his arms around the both of us.
"What's wrong, Gad?" I asked him.
Aura was trying to calm him down by holding him with one arm. I wrapped my other arm around him as well.
He says it was a nightmare, Aura confirmed. He was all alone, and we weren't with him.
"Poor kid," I said sympathetically. Gad was choking out tiny sobs and whimpers against the both of us.
Let me handle this, Aura told me. You need your rest.
But when I tried to lay down again, Gad clung to me tightly, his volume increasing.
"Why me?" I groaned. "Shouldn't he want you more? I mean, your his real father!"
In the darkness, I saw Aura smile. You are still his mother, surrogate or not. You're his only mother.
"Okay, I'll take care of him, and you go back to sleep."
But it seemed that Gad needed both of us, because he grabbed onto Aura as well.
"I guess we're both staying up, then," I said. We spent the next couple of minutes stroking Gad's tiny head, until he fell asleep against the both of us.
Sleep well, my little son, Aura said lovingly.
"We'll be right here with you," I added.
After checking on the eggs that were Gad's brothers, as well as Aura's other sons, I finally was able to lay down with Gad nestled between us.
You are a good mother, Aura said to me.
"And you are a great father," I responded with a tired smile. "Good night."
Good night.
