Dude, my step mom actualy said "Take that s**t off your face." when i ame home with my eyeliner. My dad had a better approach. he figured i'd grow out of it. I didn't but i stopped wearing makeup and fishnet every day. parents find it their duty to make thier kids into what they want them to be instead of what they (the kids) want to be. Don't worry we all go through it.

I am sorry OP, but I think you're complaining for the wrong reasons. Who gives a damn if you're the only goth in your town? Take pride in yourself. Be happy with who you are and don't be afraid to think for yourself and to be different. Don't turn other people away just because they don't fit into your whole goth look/lifestyle.

Everyone around me has different styles and tastes, and it doesn't bother me at all. That is NOT the reason why I feel alone. My solitude is a bit more complex than that... probably sadder than anyone here can even understand.

No one here has been complaining,
Simply observing and noticing.

Just because I mention not having any goth friends doesn't automatically mean I don't take pride in who I am.

My solitude isn't based around not having goth friends,
Just people who understand.

And to say your reasons for solitude is sadder than anyone else's here without knowing everyone's proper story is both asinine and ignorant.

Also,
My parents never tried to change who I was.
Not every deals with single minded parents.

I agree, that's why i moved back to the closest city.

On the whole isshue of having like friends I could not agree more.

((In my part of the world everyone is all like bunnys and smillys and happy happy happy....>.>
They don't seem to have any problems. So the conversation is dull and empty.
And stuff like that is ok...but somethimes you need meat and potatos!
Thats why I don't really have any friends...))

BTW: Sorry for the gramer...I will fix it later on my other pc....again...sorry. xp
