depending on the army, its really easy to get a paint job that looks good.

i did this with three colors (besides base coat) and it didn't take long at all

black spray for undercoat, followed by drybrushing mithril silver and then skull white for the wings, and blood red for the blood drops. oops, i lied, i also used orange for the melta pistol and an inkwash of brown ink over the insignia to tone it down
