He wanted to peek at this individual so badly but he kept down with a small sigh as he rested his head against her clothed back once more. This entire hullabaloo was actually starting to make him rather sleepy. Nosferatu just needed to be patient.
"I want to apologize, to you and to that Morsel you're trying to hide," Izaak drawled quietly as he tucked his hands into his pockets as he 'stared' at her quietly. He had smelt the 'morsel' during the chase and so hiding or denying that the child was there was pretty much no point in 'hiding' them but he didn't say anything about it.
All he wanted was to apologize and then he'd flee off into the night.

The woman looked momentarily stunned. Apologize? Really? Her stunned gaze narrowed again when he brought up the boy as a Morsel. Her hands moved to rest on her hips, her stance no longer offensive but in its place was an air of dislike.
"You can let go if you want." She said outloud, her gaze still on the intruder but her comment was meant for Nosferatu. There was certainly no more point in hiding him, but she still wasn't going to call him by name just yet. It was up to him whether or not he let go, but she was still going to hover like a hawk. "I don't care if he accepts your apology." She informed the bald man.
"But I will not." She was still absolutely oozing with animosity.

Oh come on! Have a sense of humor.
Cripes. Besides why did she care if he called the little blood bag a Morsel? It wasn't like he actually intended to eat the boy, it wasn't his style, at least not while he was in the right state of mind. It was the reason why he hung around in alleys where thugs and other lowlifes that won't be missed or mourned go. Today the alleys were apparently empty much to his annoyance. Izaak gave a small grunt in response to her words and watched as movement began to stir from behind her.
Nosferatu gave a small sigh as he finally clambered back down and just kind of walked from behind her and stared at the man with an eyebrow raised, "Holy s**t, y'got no hair, baldy," he said bluntly as he rubbed sleepily at an eye."
Would the boy forgive him? Well he wasn't eaten thanks to Sally and while he thought she was cool he didn't feel the need to 'emulate' her unforgiving behavior. The vampire bat shrugged his shoulders lazily as he murmured, "Sure, whatever, jackass." That was as good as the man was going to get from him.
Izaak just chuckled.

Sally did kneel a bit when he went to crawl off of her, but was very careful when it came to where her hands were; she didn't want to accidentally touch him and go haywire. Not in front of the bald man. Nosferatu's little comment made her chuckle and grin despite herself. It was at the man's expense, after all! Something deep within her mostly dead tissue stirred up with some form of dormant Maternal instincts when he rubbed his eye and was acting...slower than usual.
"Baldy said his piece, and now as promised he has to leave." She said to Nosferatu, casting a 'Get the hint and go' sort of hostile stare to the other predator. It was probably beneficial that she insinuated some form of connection between her and the child, in case he got the bright idea to go after him again. "Lets go home. It's bed time." Sally said, putting herself between the two males but guiding the younger one back towards the town.
Great. If she didn't think she could leave him alone before, now she definitely couldn't.

Izaak 'stared' from the child to the woman for a long moment with the constant cheerful expression on his face as if it was glued there. That woman hadn't forgiven him and so made it his goal to find her and get her to forgive him or earn her forgiveness. Yep, that was now the plan and he had no intention of making her aware of it either. "Fine, see ya. Get rest short-stuff," the bald man said to Nosferatu and he turned and strolled off without any further words. One would think he'd protest at her unforgiving behavior but really he wasn't heartless and saw the child was swooning and needing sleep.
..Who the hell would drag a kid around the city so late? He'd ask her later.
Nos made a rather rude gesture at Izaak upon the short-stuff comment whether or not the man saw it he didn't care. He looked up at Sally and nodded as he began, again, to turn and lead the way home, or try to. Every now and again Nos would stop and go, "Th's way I think," in slurred speech.

Sally watched the man leave, not bothering to even think of giving him some form of farewell. She didn't want him to fare well. In fact, she honestly hoped the opposite. The Monster gave a twisted grin at the gesture but didn't comment on it; she felt it was justified. Besides, it wasn't her place to scold him for it. She most certainly was not his Mother.
Despite his sleep deprivation and the run she had taken earlier, he was pretty good at remembering directions. She only knew how to get to the place where they first met, but as to his actual home...that was something she didn't know.

Well mostly good at remembering directions there were a few wrong ways and lost gazes before the small boy stared around for a landmark that he usually knew only to found it wasn't there and uttering a rather blunt 'MAMA VIVISALI'S SHOPPE OF ODDITIES".
"Home," he murmured as he pointed toward it.

Sally said nothing about his choice of wording, instead letting him do what he wanted. Naturally she kept a careful watch on him, jumping away whenever he came too close to touching her skin. Luckily there were no incidents, and when they arrived at the building, she stared up at it. It was a cute building, but more importantly, it looked climbable. She couldn't enter the building itself until someone told her to come in, but she could definitely scale it. And Nosferatu looked too tired to quietly make it back upstairs without getting caught.
"I bet your room has a window. Is it unlocked? Want a lift?" It was her fault he was out so late. He wouldn't get an offer like this if she hadn't dragged him everywhere to get away from the bald jerk.

He blinked up at her as he tried to process her offer. Finally he gave her a sleepy grin and nodded as he pointed toward a window on the second floor, "Tha's my room, window is unlocked," he murmured quietly as he moved to clamber on her to where he was upon her back again, very careful to not touch her skin as he was instructed to not do from the very start.
Nosferatu uttered a small yawn as he waited.

Sickly eyes fillowed the pointed finger, then stood still to let Nosferatu climb on her back. She didn't tell him that he needed to hold on; she assumed he would know it was a long fall. Once he was more or less safely on her back, the Monster stepped closer to the wall, taking holds of the spaces between the bricks with her now pointed fingers, using them as climbing hooks. The wall was scaled with no issues, and she clung to the window frame with one hand, forcing the window open with the other. She stayed just underneath the window, bowing her head so he'd be able to just climb over her and into his room.
"Get going, Brat." She urged as affectionately as she could. "To bed with you."

Before he climbed off her back he made sure to grab a bit of her sweater between his fingertips and gave a firm, affectionate tug. As close as to a hug, "Thank you, Auntie Sally," he murmured sleepily as he carefully made his way off of her and into his room.
He peeked out at her before he closed the window, "Night," and then he was gone and the window was closed. Nosferatu moved to his bed where he belly flopped and promptly passed out.

Sally stayed very, very still when he climbed over her and into the room, in case of an accident. "You're welcome." She submitted after a moment or two, taking that tug on her sleeve as an affectionate move. It was deliberate after all, and she did tell him not to out right touch her. The creature waited for the window to be closed before she pushed away from the wall, letting herself fall to the ground below.
She landed on her feet, albeit not as gracefully as she would have hoped, and started to wander again to waste the rest of the night away.
She made sure to go in whatever direction his smell wasn't headed.
