"Any luck with that? Hmm.... 'Mystery of the Pyramid's Builders...' That sounds pretty catchy huh?" The Doctor pointed to a sign on the list of tours. "Which one do you think we should go on? Hard to pick just one..."
"Just one...." the doctor thought to himself, as if he had thought of something but didn't guess what.

*We?* thought Akyrah. *Am I really stuck with this person?* She looked at the sign showing the tour times. *I don't really have anything to do, so I guess it wouldn't hurt*
"Whichever one you'd like to go on, stranger." She looked at the tall stranger, making eye contact. "Guess I should know your name if we're going to be going together, though."

"We?" Jett asked, not realizing he said it aloud until it was too late. He rubbed the back of his head sheepishly. "Well, since I /was/ going to go on one anyway, it shouldn't hurt to go along with you. I was thinking about that one, too... Say, what is your name again?"

Akyrah was a little surprised, but she responded to him. "Uh, I was asking the other man, the one who tripped on you. My name is Akyrah. And who are you both, then?

"Me? Oh!" The Doctor grinned innocently, "I'm the Doctor!"
He cracked a bit of a silly pose with his trench coat, and scowled the tour list.
"anyone know where we actually find the tour?"
He finally asked, anticlimatically.

Jett looked at the doctor rather oddly, before shaking his head with a slight sigh. "I suppose I call you Doctor, then," he muttered, more to himself. Placing a hand on his hip, Jett said, "You can call me Jett, and I believe we'd have to actually go /inside/ to find the tour."

"And it's a free tour too, how about that!" The Doctor went inside through revolving glass doors. Inside was full of people and halls with signs for different self guided tours, and stairs up to higher floors where fossils of giant creatures hung from the ceiling.
The Doctor started down the red marked path for the mystery tour, seeing various diagrams about the pyramid's scale once they reached the inside of the hall.
"Wow, lookie here, apparently part of the pyramid is buried underground, and various shafts have been uncovered...Anyone of you ever wondered how a swampy bay like this could support such a building?...." The Doctor had his nose in the diagram practically, entirely intrigued by it.

Akyrah mumbled, "Just 'the Doctor' huh? And Jett? Alright." She followed Jthe two into the pyramid. She was not exactly comfortable - she was sort of stuck with 2 strange men named "the Doctor" and "Jett". She knew absolutely nothing about them, and it bothered her since she was probably going to be with them all day. She sighed heavily. If they didn't want to share right away - she could understand, since she'd been equally uninformative - then she'd have to just go with 2 total strangers. After all, they might both feel the same way. At least the tour should be informative.
"I don't know. I don't really know much about it, I suppose. Never really thought about it. Does sound interesting, I suppose."
((Oh, it's a swamp! *facepalm*))

Jett hung back, watching the doctor with a slight frown. He was seeming more and more the type that was easily amused. When he asked a question about the pyramids, he huffed. "Who knows. You could probably ask someone here and see if they know."

Akyrah gave another heavy sigh. She was definitely not comfortable; she wondered for a moment if this or being thoroughly bored would be worse, and she decided this was worse. She could tell that Jett wasn't pleased - his last action pissed her off a tad - and that the Doctor was definitely interested in detail - a quality she loved and hated. Oh well. She figured that, as long as the tours were free, there wasn't really anything to lose by going on one.
"So...'Doctor'...What do you want to do?"
((Relatives are coming tomorrow night. After some confusion, we thought they were coming on Wednesday night, but they're coming tomorrow. We'll all be busy all day getting ready for them. They're leaving on Friday. I'll try to come in for a few minutes or something a night to check this RP. Sorry. xp))
