for my sectional,i always make the first year people pee themselves because i always say THIS IS NOT A DEMOCRACY THIS IS A STRICT DICTATORSHIP!!AND IN THIS DICTATORSHIP I AM HITLER!!!(sorry to anyone whose jewish.)but everyone goes along with it and says all hail to hitler if i dont finger the note right i have disgraced this precious band! smile lmfao but im really not mean at all to them.

so as low brass we r rated the dumest section XD
but we had the highest focus
so we made a test on focusing and it wuz funnay!!.
the we sectuion leaders started yelling random crap like"HOLY CRAP MY d**k FELL OFF!!!!"
or "-insert name of tech here- is rining naked thru the feild!!!!"
while 1 of us says commands lol XD its funny!!!

my section leader made us do "the mexican baritone dance" but the other chick in my section didn't do it, so he made her do it all by herself. she told him "but it will be humiliating!" he made her do it anyway. so when she finished, he told her "yeah that was humiliating! but it wouldn't have been if you had done it with us."
also, whenever the drill instructors paint the field, our section leader always says "push-ups anyone?" and we all do it. just for those fumes. sigh, good times, gooood times

i'm clarinet section leader. :]]
when we're in sectionals and they're being stupid and not paying attention, i just do my frustrated sectional dance.
this consists of falling backwards and flailing around like fish out of water, but in slow motion. legs spread and all.
i made the mistake of doing it right in front of our BD. yeah. he had a front seat. oops. haha. xd

My section leaders have been okay. I liked last years far better then this years though.
Last year, my sl was amazing. She didn't make us stand at attention for hours like the bd does. She would have aus play a part, and then relax while she explained what we might of done wrong, etc. And then she wold try and lighten up mistakes by joking around with us about it.
I will probably never forget my favorite sectional that yearXDFor some odd reason, only about half of us(aka, 4 of us. There is a grand total of 6 that year) including her showed up, so it was a pretty light sectional. Well, she had this one boy my age play a part(at the time, we were the only two freshman. funny how the two freshman show up, but two seniors do not. This particular kid quit band this year) He has never had a good sound quality, and barely blows any air into his clarinet. So the SL is like this:
"You know, everyone says the clarinet section is the wimpiest section in the band, because few can play loudly. Lets show them we are nnot the wimpiest section. To do that, please don't play wimpily." It was funnier when it happened, thoughXD The other senior(who was on the side fingering her part) turns around with a priceless look on her face.
"Is wimpily a word?"
"uh, no. no it is not." lol
And then we had a single sectional this year, because our sl was a complete idiot and pretty much a terrible sl(the bd said so as well, so I'm definately not alone on my opinion. In fact, the only reason we had the sectional was because he ade us) Anyway, it was mostly for the second parts. So whle our sl worked with the seconds, all us first were sent off with next years likely sl (if I make dm or don't get sl instead) Well, we practically partied in the brass locker while attempting to practice confusing parts. The seconds were in the band room, so we were left with the choice of lockerroom(a small, cramped space) or brass room(A large room about half the size of the band room.) Well, the brass room jst happens to be the most visited room at lunch(when we hold sectionasl) besides the band room. So, we had an audienceXD A very obnoxious audience, and loud

when we do stretches during marching season and people dont count or sing (cuz we do a stretch where we sing the superman theme) they have to go to the front and sing 'im a little teapot'.... my section leaders are always trying to rat us out so we have to do it...

My section leader was the biggest blunder during marching season. 4 stories.
-We were doing outside music sectionals one day and, as trumpets do, we got way off topic. To try to get us to play again but louder he said, "Okay, go rip a big one right over there!" For the rest of the sectional, no one could stop repeating that.
-One day during class, my section was told to help one of our players learn his new spot. Then one of the younger ones lifted his shirt and tied it Daisy Duke style. Apparently the one who we were supposed to be teaching wanted in on this action and followed, as well as pulling his shorts up like an old person. And in his typical grace, my section leader said "Rickey, put your shirt down!" The flutes would not stop looking at us.
-During an indoor sectional, we were just chillin' in "The Trumpet Room" and started talking a bit. My section leader put his leg up on his knee, and in the process, kicked one girl's trumpet. She totally went off on him and tried to kick him. XD
-Possibly the same day as the last thing, our BD came in to check out how our sectional was goin'. About 10 minutes later, we were all sitting on the floor, talking about the 2012 apocalypse thing. It was so hilarious!

My section leader had sex with the entire Low Brass section; excluding the girls. They all said he wasn't very satistying.
