Uuni grinned when his utterance of gratitude reached her ears. It was strange to get a begrudged thanks as she rose to her feet and passed that same grin over to Ormeteth.
"Mmm," was her answer as she gave him another wink.
"I'll see you around, G'ran!" Thank goodness for short names. Uuni didn't even bother with the dragons name, instead saying, "And you too," before passing them a wave that was merely the flick of her wrist and then taking the steps to leave the weyr.
When G'ran's little dragon was older, then she might chance to see him again. Until then, the phrase was likely a passing pleasantry. Uuni had half a guess that this was likely fine by both parties save for Ormeteth who seemed so easily amused that he would get over any moderate loss with extreme haste.
