Do you like it or hate it? Why? Discuss!
I've made a crapton of posts in the SF as to why I hate it, but I basically just want My Guilds back in the shortcut menu along with My Avatar, and the gigantic pictures gone from the blocks, along with the tiny and 'no-duh'ish text.
I want my guilds were they've always been DDD: It takes me ages to even get to the list now ;___;
Anyway, that's my beef. If you want to see my longer, more rambly post on the matter, it's here. I'm sure you can find some more of mine in the SF, I'm just too lazy to find them.

I think the old was more detailed, but if you don't know what you're looking for, the new is more helpful...I don't really know... stare

I don't dislike the new one, but I prefer the old one. I miss the My Guilds page also. The new one is spiffy-er, but the old one is the one I'm used to.

I really hate that it's so hard to get to my guilds. This is sad, I know, but I find myself coming here less often because it just feels like too much work.

I guess it would be better for newer users but gaia should have at least given us a choice to use the one we like.

We have that option with our profiles. We can use either the newer or older version. Could they have done something like that here?
I would love to see a customizable shortcut bar. That would make my life a lot easier.

My gut says they did this updated to make navigating Gaia more *Wii Friendly*
The old toolbars ARE more detailed...but they simplified it with bigger buttons, which took up the detail...sure it's easy for the wii users...but they dulled it down for the computer users...and made it more difficult for the PSP users...how do I know this...I surf Gaia all three ways 3nodding

Well, I think I've given myself plenty of time to get used to the new format. I know that sometimes I dislike things from the start just because it's new, so I wanted to wait a while before making my final decision. So what do I think? I still don't like it! I want a quick jump to my guilds. I can work around the delay in getting to the choices. I still don't like having to get into the shop menu to start a trade, but I can handle that. And once I learned that the Inventory has a shortcut premarked, that made things easier. But I still find it very difficult to get into the Guild, and that really bugs me. It's going to continually make it more difficult for people to find us...and come back to visit.

We go to the forums, stand by waiting to ambush, and on three, we throw cheeseburgers at everyone within ten feet with the IoG logo stamped on the pickles and buns. Considering I'd rather eat the cheeseburgers, plan B is the same, only to chuck ice cubes at the people who bump in the Chatterbox thread all day, only the ice cubes are shaped like Chuck Norris's head and have the directions to the guild stitched in. Perfect, no?

I don't know if I like it yet. I think I should be open to change sweatdrop I don't know.... i think gaia looks prettier now, but I don't think the changes are useful at all.

I think they have remedied many of the problems with the Navigation Bar by adding the Quick Links menu at the bottom. I love being able to direct link to whatever I want...including this guild!
