Zaine did not even attempt to resist the pull, instead he focused on tightening the muscles of his body to prepare for potential offensive blows leveled against his person, however he was still caught off guard by the sudden, powerful blow to his stomach and immediatly doubled over in pain, coughing up some of the contents of his stomach and wheezing in an attempt to catch his stolen breath. "C-c-come on Mikhail, are you just gonna keep spewing that bullshit? Or are you gonna stop strutting around like a cat that is pleased with itself?" he wheezed out, not looking at the man he addressed, "As to what you did to the others, well I assure you that you will pay for that, I promise you." he suddenly moved with such speed his limbs were a blur, he reversed the grip on his swords and attempted to slam the hilts on both sides of the Captain Commander's torso, "Now then! Let's get started!" He exclaimed viciously, already shunpoing back no matter the result of his first attack and firing off a successive blast of wind and flame at Mikhail's form.

Mikhail could hear the cries from those closest to him. It broke his heart to know he was betraying them, but the pay off for all this would be much better than if he had continued to go on his path of self destruction. "I'm sorry, all of you, I really am." Knocking away Zaine's hilts with the back of his hands Mikhail flung his foot forward doing a snap kick boosted by his Kinetic powers in his Resurreccion. Like Jedi and there force a powerful blast of energy carrying the strength of his kick enhanced by kido flew towards Zaine's head. As the swiringly vortex of fire and air flew at him he could feel his flesh become singed. His Hierro however protected most of his body but his exposed flesh crisped slightly. As the Bankin wrapped around his body the songs slowly came in succession. As the knives pierced his body shreaks of pain escaped him but the Bakudo was not even, Mikhail still was going strong. "Hanki!" Using an equal force of power the soon to be former Soutaichou cancelled out the Bakudo before it could finish and send him to his death. Using his Kinetics Mikhail earased almost all trace of his mass and used a Sonido with such speed that it was almost unphathamable.

Arriving between Lerato and Raine Mikhail held out one hand before each of their faces, "I'm not possessed. I've simply come to my senses. You'll thank me one day." Releasing a flurry of bala from each palm towards the faces of his comrades Mikhail bit his lower lip until bleed. In an almost inaudible whisper Mikhail spoke, "it's hurting me more than any of you will ever know." As blood droplets rolled down his chin Mikhail was off again using his Sonido. Now about the area and looking down upon them Mikhail lolled his tongue about the blood that filled his mouth. Releasing his Vizard form, Mikhail drew his Wakizashi and proceeded to release it. "Mobilize, Buriki Shokunin." As the Zanpakuto began to cover his limbs Mikhail voiced his true intention, "Bankai." Covered now in his Tetsu no Jaketto or Steel Jacket the Captain Commander held out his hands and began to charge a Kido. "Hado #88. Hiryugekizokushintenraiho." Firing the massively powerful and wide kido onto the ground below he intended to capture all the bistanders in its range. I'm sorry.

Argo: (Noun) A man exuding excellence.

The man spoke once more as he noticed he was being ignored. "OH LITTLE MIKEY!!" He unsheathed his zanpakuto as he sailed into the air, knowing very well that should it come to releasing he would have to seal his sword to go into bankai, but he did not believe bankai would be necessary in this fight, his shikai would give him everything he needed. He doubted Mihkail even remembered his bankai.

The sword flew towards Mihkail with the ancient vizard in tow. "Oh Mikey you can't have forgotten about me could you!? Remember Mikey, we were supposed to never let the other die? You let me die Mikey. You left me there. She saved me. She gave me powers like yours Mikey." The mouth of the mask cracked open as a black and white ball swirled in his mouth.

"I, too, am sorry for you my dear friend.." He whispered as Mikhail raised his hands. Lerato picked Raine up as soon as he felt something start to change and hastily put a shunpo together, doing his best to carry the captain away from danger but it wasn't fast enough and Lerato caught quite a few bala shots to his shoulder, obliterating the shoulder blade and collar bone. Landing just a few yards from where they started he looked up at Raine wincing. "I apologize Ma'am. Just trying to get you out of harm." His laughter broke into a fit of coughing. It wasn't until he tried to get to his feet that he realized the hasty shunpo had left his legs with large gashes running down them. "I almost wish I would have taken the damn Bala.." he cussed looking up at the battle. With wide eyes his hand shot out, grabbed hold of Raine once again and recited his own kido. "Bakudo #75 Tozansho!" Starting as just a blue wall, the bakudo rapidly grew into the inverted pyramid it was so known for.

Once it was cast, Lerato dropped his hold on Raine and concentrated on keeping the barrier around them up for as long as he could. He knew long before the destructive energy hit that his barrier was going to succumb to its massive force, but then again he was never trying to stop it completely; he just wanted to slow it down enough that the two within it would be ok to fight another day. The concussive power of Mikhail's attack made the barrier shake as though it was made out of gelatin, breaking the barrier down slowly and visibly before their very eyes. Once the Hado had broken through the last layer of defense and the force, though greatly diminished, hit them all Lerato could do was wince in pain. '~Lerato, you know I can't take the pain away, but I can help you prepare for later. Take me out. Let me soak up your blood so that it won't go to waste.~' After silently agreeing with his zanpukato, he shifted his weight slightly and took out the deep red blade. He watched as the blade swept over his still dripping wounds, soaking up the blood greedily.

Ntozake’s olive orbs just simply watched Mikhail when he didn’t even bother to make eye contact with her. Pathetic. He couldn’t even look at her. The short woman just shook her head in disdain, a small gentle smile gracing her features as if this whole thing was amusing. As he ranted and raved about how the current Captains did not deserve their positions, that smile turned into a frown. The small snip he shot at her pride as a Captain irked her a bit and it was clearly written on the expression on her face. That was one thing that she didn’t like; someone doubting her ability as a Captain of the Gotei 13. It just made her blood boil something fierce.

Ntozake placed a hand on her pocket once her eyes broke away from the Vaizard, going to the Captain’s that bothered to attack the man and then back to Mikhail, who was in the process of attacking Raine and Lerato with Bala’s. Okay, now he went a little bit too far. Ntozake’s hands began to envelope themselves in her sienna reiatsu, taking the form of thin rings. She watched him as he allowed himself to go into his Bankai stage. Mikhail was in his bankai and ressureccion stages. s**t. She knew this was going to be problematic.

As his massive hadou enclosed the ground, Ntozake made it her busy to shunpo away from her spot in an attempt to get away from the blast. This attempt was futile because once she landed to a new spot, the blast was still coming at her. She knew that if she didn’t do anything soon, she’d get fried. “Bakudo 81: Danku,” She mumbled rather quickly, her bakudo came into form as a wide rectangular wall to protect her from the Hadou. Well, barely. The shield looked as though it was going to break at any moment from the prodigious strength of the casted Hadou. Slowly but surely the Hadou busted through her shield in a similar manner of a breaking glass. Ntozake cursed to herself in her native tongue just as it broke through and sent her flying across the room, sending shockwaves of pain throughout her body.

She landed with brutal forced against the ground causing a loud whelp to escape her lips. Her glasses landed somewhere away from her person, which made her a bit handicap now and her Captain’s jacket basically obliterated from her person. She didn’t mind, since she knew she could always get another one. Ntozake’s body had several mild burns as well, which contributed to the agony she was feeling throughout her limbs.

Breathing heavily, Ntozake pushed herself up from the ground slowly, olive orbs just stared down into the ground. Vision blurred to the point of not deciphering what was directly in front of her or beyond, basically blind. She placed her focus and faith onto her hearing and other senses, just as she did in the past. “********’ coward! What ********’ good will this go about, huh?” She yelled, loud enough for everyone to hear. Her heavily accented voice rang throughout the hall. Ntozake held up her arm facing Mikhail, ‘ringed’ fingers were outstretched as far as they could. Her gaze blindly staring at the ground below her. Confusing and problematic. That’s what classified this situation. A friend and her duties. Her morals were tested at this point, she knew. Ntozake’s body shivered involuntary, reflecting her nervousness. “Hadou 73: Soren Sokatsui,” She whispered roughly under her breath. The hadou formed in her outstretched hand and propelled itself in the form of twin azure fireballs hurling towards Mikhail in such speeds. Ntozake’s hand shifted over the hilt of her broadsword, yanking it out of it’s emerald sheath. “COME ON!”

As Raine was hit by the aftershock of the blast, she yelped in pain. Her clothes were a bit messed up, but she could always get more. "You've got to be ******** kidding me!" she screamed suddenly after Lerato had gotten hit with most of the attacks. Her flask had been crushed by one of the bala's that flew through, ending up as a pile of splintered metal. "Tozanshō!" she cast her own pyramid thing quickly. Her eyes glanced down at Lerato before an angry sigh left her lips. "Next time leave me there." she barked at the man. In truth, she was highly grateful, but she was too pissed off to really show that at the moment. "You stay here." after she spoke, she walked to the edge of the barrier and forced it to part so that she could leave. She was hoping that the stupid barrier would hold for a while, or at least until someone else could help Lerato.

Glancing around, she noticed Ntozake looking like she was about to explode. That gave her an idea. Using a quick set of shunpoes, she appeared next to a pair of glasses that had landed on the ground. Picking them up, she smiled. "I'unno if they're useful any more but here." she said and stood somewhat behind the other woman. "We should work together to rip him to shreds. Not only did he insult us, but he tried to fry us too. I think that deserves a woman's wrath and scorn yea?" her tone had become somewhat malicious now, showing that she was out for blood. Pulling her blade from its sheath on her back, Raine smiled wide. She was going to get revenge on Mikhail, and when she did, she was going to make sure he suffered for what he was doing to all the captains.

Flames lapped at his excposed skin, no longer in his Resurreccion, substituting it for his Bankai, Mikhail was less protected. The fires from the Soren Sokatsui created several bright red tender burns along his torso and on his face. Nitozake taunted him, just asking to be beaten until blood trickled from her skull and the Vizard that had followed him charged forth with his blade ready to skin him. He was caught between two powerful beings one a dear old friend from the academy and the other a trusted and dear aquaitence. "You were dead! And you'll always remain dead to me." Firing off a large wide beamed Spiritual Cannon blast from his outstretched left hand Mikhail could sense his Vice Captain's arrival. Just in time. Finally, Mikhail's ultimate plan could be put into action. With his Vice Captain Sof'ya's arrival he could now rest easy assured that she would see her orders through to the end.

Софья Павличенко

Sof'ya shunpo'd quickly from the Nibantai District into the devastated battlefield in front of Central Room 46. The ground her was smoldering and a pair of Captain's hunkered down inside a Bakudo. Shooting upward inbetween the Vizard and the Spiritual Cannon Sof'ya quickly used a reliable kido. "Bakudo #39. Enkosen." Being blown back slightly Sof'ya held her ground until the raging and powerful beam fizzled out. Powerful just like her mentor, Sof'ya's Enkosen held strong. Under normal circumstances it would have shattered instantly but Sof'ya's training under the best of teachers, that being Mikhail, her Enkosen simply began to crack. However, Mikhail's attack gave way before her shield and she could finish her painful task of following her Taichou's most cruel of orders. Turning to the Vizard behind her first, Sof'ya decided to restrain him first so that he could not interfere with her task. "Bakudo #61. Rikujōkōrō." As soon as the name escaped her mouth six thin beams of yellow light closed in on the Vizard and off she was again, Shunpo'ing to the other target, Ntozake.

Landing in front of Ntozake, Sof'ya's face was visibly troubled. She was on the verge of tears. "Ntozake-sama, I appologise in advance." Holding out her right hand before her Sof'ya looked down at the ground as it began to glow brightly. "Bakudo #63. Sajo Sabaku." Naming the Kido, Sof'ya watched as the golden chains wound their way towards the Taichou. Turning her back to her, Sof'ya faced Mikhail with a solomn glance. Shaking her head in disbelief she removed four spear like weapons from her back. Throwing two spears simultaneously Sof'ya grasped the other two and through them just like the ones before. Each of the four struck a limb of Mikhail's and he was no outstretched and restrained completely. His face held a smile and Sof'ya Shunpo'd into her Captain. Wrapping her arms around him she sobbed into his chest before looking up into his abyssal eyes. Giving him a brief kiss on the lips she whispered into his ear and then backed away. Clasping her hands together and releasing a massive amount of Reiatsu Sof'ya finished the Kido."Shisō Kekkai." Barely able to choke out the words, Sof'ya dropped to her knees, exhausted both emotionally and physically. She could not bare to watch him be sealed away and burried her face into her hands.

She wanted to scream. Yell. Kick. Bite. Cry. Something. Her reaitsu level soared suddenly to a level that even most captains would have troubles with. Her nostrils flared in rage, and her tattoos seemed to glow with a pulsating energy. Had she really just witnessed this? Yes, she had. She had just witnessed one of the kindest guys in the whole world not only betray his own kind, but be sealed away. Why should she have to stand for this?! Taking a step forward towards Sof'ya, Raine felt the floor under her crack at all the spiritual pressure moving through her body. Something stopped her though. What was it? Sadness? Guilt? No. It was something else. Something far worse. It was disgust. Disgust for what though, she wasnt able to say.

Letting out a loud grunt of frustration instead of screaming like she wanted to, Raine swiveled on her heel and turned, then glanced at Ntozake. The tall woman let out another grunt before yanking hold of one of the kido chains and with her wrist facing upwards, then hoisted the much smaller woman onto her back so that her elbow was pointed forward at an odd angle. That was the last the captains would see of Raine as she exited the broken looking area, though her burning reiatsu could probably be able to be felt all around the Soul Society.
