@photo 8 - When I was in singapore we went to all these expensive, Western shopping centres and department stores on Orchard Road. And then just off it we found a shopping centre which was just like the one you have a picture of - all the tiny little shops. It was SO much better, lots of different/interesting clothes and much more reasonably priced. It felt like that was where all the Singaporean teens actually did their shopping, compared to the places filled with ex pats along Orchard Road.

When I was young my family gave me Miyazaki's Totoro. It was dubbed in Chinese, and looked -so- much like the Taiwanese countryside that I thought the movie was set in Taiwan.
