...I apologize for making another movie thread. BUT DAMMIT, I WANT TO EXPRESS MY OPINION. scream
So my parents rented it from Netflix for reasons I don't understand. (I can't wait until my mom watches it; she's a HUGE Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan, and I know she'll think Twilight is terrible in comparison.) And last night at around 11:30, I was like, "Hmm... I have nothing better to do... I should watch Twilight." Obviously, it was awful.
But here are some things I noticed that I don't remember seeing posted in the guild before: In the beginning, when she was like, "OH NOES I'M LEAVING ARIZONA", she was standing in a field of CACTI, holding a CACTUS. I mean, really? Come on! ALSO, did anyone else catch Stephenie Meyer's little cameo!? They were in a diner, and she was sitting at a counter with a laptop. I was like, "Hey, that fat-a** looks familliar!" Then a waitress came over and was like, "Here's your veggie plate, STEPHENIE." I dunno, but that seemed a little self-centered to me, especially because the waitress said her name. It was like, "LOOK, EVERYONE LOOK! IT'S ME! I WROTE THIS!"
Anyway... yeah.

Yeah, it completely sucked. I couldn't sit through the whole thing, so I just flipped through the parts.

I watched it involuntarily last night... My eyes feel raped all over again!

My sister's a large Twilight fan, so that's the only movie she rents when we go to the video shop (we haven't bought it yet!) and she watches it with my mom. I simply go into the next room and try to shut it out.

worst piece of cinema history right there, just awful. It was rushed, and just slapped together to make the rabid stupid fans happy and a shameless cash grab mad

I went to the midnight showing of Twilight (When I still liked Twilight, that is.)...Anyway, I liked the movie, but after watching it 57489687 times at my dad's house (he got it on Pay per view and kept replaying OVER AND OVER.), I thought, "THIS IS CRAPPY MOVIE."
I like the soundtrack a little bit, too. The soundtrack isn't THAT bad...

I had a chance to see it with my friends once, but I couldn't swallow my pride and watch it. Instead I went and laid waste to the cave dwellers. That was a good night.

I haven't seen it. (I was still a fan when it came out) Opening night was the night of a football game, and my section leader is a huge Twitard. So, of course, she went to see it. And I'm the backup soloist. (and I was in 8th grade. That's how good I am.) So, it was either go see Twilight and not play the solo I'd wanted desperately all year, or play the solo for reals. I played that solo, too. Played it good. And that's the story of my first trombone solo. 8D redface

I think I'd laugh if I actually came face-to-face with her while wearing my "Twilight Sucks" shirt. Lulz would most definitely ensue...
