CrissAngelLover12345 . Charcoal will also be getting declawed, and I'm thinking about spaying her. Don't think, just do. Spaying is better then anything, since she'll probably end up sending the other two cats into a frenzy once her heat arrives.

My dad is against getting animals spayed/neutered, so it would be a challange to do. The male one is neutered (so we don't have a bunch of kittens later down the road), but partly because the surgery is more invasive as well as the FLV, Gizmo is not getting spayed. Charcoal probably won't if he has any say in it. I'd have to fund the surgury myself, if I want it done, probably. I will end up with a road block if I decide to get it done...

I might end up having to wait until I move out to get it done, when ever that will be...

I had mentioned that I wanna get her spayed and he didn't say anything about that. I'd probably have to pay for it though... I finally got some pictures of her uploaded onto photobucket! biggrin I haven't gotten around to uploading some updated pictures of Gizmo and Boots yet. Here's what Charcoal currently looks like. She is 2 months old now. biggrin Here's what she looked like when I first got her, She was 3 weeks old here. smile Here's her brother, Simba when he was 3 weeks old: My grandfather got Simba after he was one month old. I haven't uploaded any of the pictures that were taken of him just before we gave him to my Granddad.

I read that most cats with FLV that get pregnant don't make it to term. Their bodies usually abort the kittens long before they are due to be born. It isn't a matter of affording it with Gizmo, my dad won't because her risk of infections are higher. We haven't been able to afford getting Charcoal to the vet's yet. She'll probably be going there in January. I hope she does not have FLV.

they did have fleas. We gave them all flea baths when we brought them in. biggrin On Simba and Charcoal, we killed all the fleas with one bath, for Gizmo and Boots, it took about 3 or so baths to kill them all...
