OKay change in post:
People may like who ever the ******** they want. I just dont like the ones that will like them for about 10 days then find someone else and walk off. HIM is the best damn thing to ever happen to me and after 3 years of waiting to met them I do. I wanted to hold and cry on all of their shoulders and tell them what they have done for me.
When I wanted to die because I wasn't allowed to talk to my boyfriend Chris anymore, I had HIM to sing Razorblade Kiss for me. To this day, that one song keeps me and him together-even if he has forgotten about me.
HIM is a band that will forever be a reak ******** band. Not a poserish "Look at me! I'm a ******** Rockstar!" band. They have real music and real people. They are the 5 most nicest people in the world and the mean everything to me. Yes, I may sound crazy, but that band is my life. And if they want to do what they are doing let them. If we were true fans, we would be with them through everything that have and are going to do. We should support them. HIM isn't are band. They are their own people. We cannot control if Ville get married or if Mige decides he wants to grow a beard. Let them be who the are.
They may be saying right now, "Hey! You don't like Dark Light? Well ******** you! We spent are asses off for that damn album and you don't have to like it, but don't blame us for it!" And they would be right! They wanted it to be that way. Not to sound mainstream, but because they never had and album sounding like that before.
And for Bam fans: I don't like him. But we shouldn't hate them because they do! Hell! HIM likes Bam! Let the Bam fans be! They may be just as devoted HIM fans as we are, but since they like Bam we all go: "AH! POSER! YOU JUST LIKE HIM BECAUSE BAM DOES!" We shouldn't judge people because the Barbie look-alike down the street decides she wants to go to a HIM concert in her pink princess gown with "I hate Rock Music" on it. She has a reason to why she wants to be there. We may not get it, but she does.
When I went to the 2005 HIM concert, I wore my new Killing Loneliness shirt there. But guess what? People go "Oh you are a new fan. You haven't know them that long." Just because I wore a newer shirt! That pissed me off. They arent the true fans. ******** them. The band said they liked it so that's all that mattered.
What I'm trying to say is. In our hearts, HIM will always be our special little band. And we all know deep down who much and how long we loved them as well. I don't think the band cares if you liked them for 10 years to 10 seconds. To them, a fan is a fan. And they will always welcome us for that. Not because we know more, but because we care and love them.

Tenshi No Reyire Okay first off. HIM doesn't have 100% control over all their merchandising. They do have to have lives you know. I don't think you should really blame them for heartagrams being everywhere. I think alot of people are just disapointed that their little Finnish band that hardly anyone heard of is now going mainstream, and they don't want HIM to be famous. Hey, I'm in the same boat. I don't want HIM to be famous like alot of other bands. I can't afford eighty dollar tickets to their concerts. But it doesn't mean I'm going to stop liking HIM. And as for Dark Light, if you get mad they didn't make a " perfect" breathtaking/whatever album compared to their other albums, and you think they're all about image and whatever, that's a tiny bit unfair. You know bands want to make it big in America. That's usually their goal. But sometimes I think alot of HIM fans just want HIM to be their little secret, but it doesn't work that way. As for the stupid Bam fans, deal with it. I'm a proud Bam fan. I don't like the word "Bamtard" or people just going "oh those Bam fans" and then when I get mad, I hear "Oh I'm a Bam fan too!" Well, make that a TINY bit more clear next time, okay? I happen to like Dark Light. I happen to like everything that HIM's ever done. And yes, I happen to think Ville is a very gorgeous man. (Seeing as how I've seen HIM live in concert twice and my best friend met him, I can say that he is very gorgeous in person.) Okay I'm not trying to be mean or anything. I understand you guys have your own opinions, I just hate to see HIM fans get mad over things like this! Hey, we're suppose to love/support our band. One not-perfect album and everyone's ready to boycott. Yeah, every band has poser fans. We have to deal and educate people! Love you guys. Agree. And I bet my life on it that they don't like it either.

Why is everyone raggin on their new album? I thought it was better than their other ones. I mean, Love Metal was pretty good too but this was def. better in my opinion.
HIM becoming like a fashion trend? Nah, no one really likes them that I know. Meaning, I do not personally know anyone who likes them as if they were trendy to be into.

I just wanted to say that yeah, they're new album strays a bit, but its still good. Plus, look when Deep Shadows and Brilliant Highlights came out, everyone was like, oh theyve gone soft, they're not him anymore, but then they came back with love metal, so even if you dont like this album, wait for the next one is all im saying.

I doubt it matters now, but I agree with you.
Their style has changed..
The sound.. I was just horribly dissapointed when I heard Wings of a butterfly... In my opinion, Killing loneliness was better.. but still not that good..
I borrowed the whole album from a friend, and aside from Vampire Heart and partially Nightside of Eden, Most songs just... Werent that good.. IN MY OPINION.. >.< I dont want anyone biting my head off..
I can usually leave any album on and just listen to it all, but some songs just made me feel horribly hopeless and mad so I just had to skip them.. x3
And yeah, I was also mad when they were becoming a trend.. All of a sudden little teenyboppers had the heartagram everywhere.. A month later, No one would be caught dead wearing something with a heartagram on it.. Now its everywhere again...
Really now.. Its getting pathetic.

Well I kind of agree. Its true the album is not that big of a hit but it could have been worse-as the concerts have. in germany i have been to some and ville acts like a black smurf recently on stage. its not what it used to be and its the same with the album. but still, i think its worth listening and i found some really touching songs on it.still lovely.
