"Okay, keep your secrets! And this one shall be ours. Though I am sure we are not the first ones to come and peek on the eggs. Your hair looks fine by the way, I wish mine would grow a little longer." Jessan replied. He turned back and watched Cheoth moved around. The gold was much more fussy since the unapproved touching.
"We shouldn't stay too much longer. I know I have to be to the beast pens later on. You can come and watch if you want. Though the bovines and runners don't do too much. This will just be me feeding them. Maybe you can invite your cousin?" Jessan offered happily. It was always nice to make friends.

"Most likely not, I'm sure word had gotten around to someone or a other about this spot." He looked at Jessan. "Your hair is fine." He added before looking back at the clutch. The fact his little escapade had not reach the weyr was nice.
"Mm, we don't want the queen feeling uneasy. I'll see what I can do though I'm sure Rom would say the lives of bovines and runners are fascinating." If he could find her. He sort of blocked out his cousin's plans of the day in favor of taking in the scenery. "Guess we should be going back then?"

((I think we are about done. One or two more posts and I will change the title.))
"My hair is my own. I am thankful I didn't have to shave it when lice broke out a few moons back. That was not a fun time. So far, I have been lucky to avoid all of Ista's plagues." Jessan replied in good spirits. Though with the overcrowding of Ista and now there have been problems going on inside the Weyr... Not something to bother Rish about.
Getting up and offering Rish his hand, he gave the younger boy a easy smile. "As long as the gold is happy, so is the rest of the Weyr. If we head back, I am sure we can find some juice or something in the kitchens before I have to wander for my evening duties. Of course, you are always welcome to come along."
It felt good to be able to hold a conversation again and not be wallowing in self pity.

"Don't mention those horrors!" Lice where creepy, and made his skin crawl. 'Rish had taken a few prevented measures and shorten his hair a bit and kept away from sharing anything. "Though it is good. I don't think you would look nearly as handsome with a shave sunburnt scalp."
'Rish took the hand, finding his feet and brushing off his clothes. "Mm juice would be good. I do belive though I will have to go back to the hold by then. Perhaps we can meet up latter sometime?" 'Rish brushed back his hair. "Perhaps after the hatching?"

Jessan chuckled and waited. "I don't think I can see myself bald either. Or at least, very close shaven. So, I suppose my hair is better than no hair."
He brushed off the telltale dust and dirt from sitting and watching the eggs. Not that they had done anything but the fact that he had seen them before the day of Hatching was something. He briefly wondered if the dragonets sensed things outside of their shells and then decided he probably would never know. "Maybe I will see you on the Sands. And if you come as a Candidate, I am sure we will get a chance to do chores together. But, I would like to meet up after Hatching. Maybe at the Feast?"
Jessan gave his best smile as he started to lead them out of the confusing tunnels. Making a turn, he brought them into the sunlit bowl. Giving a slight bow, he sighed. "Maybe I will see you later at the pens? After juice, I am sure I will be needed there."

((Yeah. Which is good for I just finished 'Rish's search rp with Feyling. He is officially a candidate.))
"Perhaps. Cousin is attempting to see if she can secure me a seat in the stands. Her master wants her to see one hatching since Rom is thinking of switching over becoming a healer for people or even dragons. If I become a Candidate you best watch out because I be sure to track you down. Perhaps we could be room mates."
He blinked. "We are back already?" 'Rish snorted, shaking his head. "I am quite horrible with directions then. If I can." He added. He really didn't want to start anything with his cousin. She always got the upper hand somehow.
