Rikku turned her head as Dhakia slithered to the hole in the shiny temple floor. It seemed strange to think Matrea had previously been down there. So much had happened since she had first entered Nowhere to find Lida. She had done so much and seen so much, even made new friends. The cosplay's eyes glazed over as she began to get lost in her own thoughts, remembering all that she had been through to arrive at the Temple, even what had happened after she had finally got there. It seemed like so long ago...
Rikku was so lost in her thoughts that she didn't even notice Dhakia make her way back to Matrea so when she shouted Rikku started and the fur on her tail stood on end for a moment before she brushed it back down.
She gasped and smiled widley, "Matrea! Welcome back!"

Lida could reach out and touch the other now if she stretched. She was a pretty yellow and black Nightmare. She had noticed that Keiki had sheltered behind her shoulder and felt proud, there was already a strong bond between the two.
The new arrival spoke and Lida found herself silent for a few moments. She seemed hyper. She felt a twinge of disappointment before she brought herself to speak. "Lida." She said simply still weighing up whether to trust this newcomer. "What's yours?"

Jack appeared to pause then. Turning slightly away from Destin, his eyes narrowed in a shifty sort of way, the deep brown orbs squinting off to the side to keep track of Destin's position as he took a ew carefully selected steps into the ferns. 'flick-flick-flick' went his tail in sudden spaced out snaps. "Something on the island... Yes. Yes there is something on this island. Something of great value is on this here island. The Pearl is here."
Shifting his weight to one side, Jack spun about, and took three long strides towards the inland. His paw riseing up to point unerringly before him. "Hidden in a cove she sits. Vacant as a drunkards gaze and prettier then the gal he's gazin at. Course she's of no use to the two of us you see." Turning to wave a paw in the air a little too close then was proper in Destins's face. "No thumbs. Makes it quite hard to sail a ship with no thumbs to tie rigging, steer the rudder, or open rum bottles."

Dhakia only rolled her eyes with a smile. "Grand. Maybe I shoulda kept him sleepin'." she snerked then shrugged. "Of course you're alive!" she then half hissed.

"Lida..." she repeated softly, as if saying it to herself would help her remember better. "My name's Zhaneel, but my brothers all call me Zhanny." She smiled then relaxed some on her own branch. "It's nice to meet you!"
She was definately calming down a bit, not appearing as hyper as she had previously. It was then that she noticed the little mote hiding behind the other's shoulder. "Oh! Is that a pet of some kind? Or another dream?" she asked with a small tilt of her head. All she knew was that she had never seen anything like it in her life.

Destin frowned. "Trust me." he started with a gentle huff. "I know exactly what it's like to do things with out thumbs." He eyed Jack up and down at this point, obviously analyzing the situation.
The other Jack would have helped him after the offer of possibly having a girl at his side, but this was something new. Besides, the Jack Destin knew also knew better by now. That trick had been played far too often and now it had gotten old. Destin had been putting forth new ideas and "traps" to keep the corgi pet cosplay of Ky's under constant surveilance back on their home island. This one was being wise from the start.
"Fine..." he started then stood, turning back to shore. "I'll be on my way then." he sighed and started to walk off. "I just hope I can find my daughter before the party tomorrow. She's the only one in the family that can open bottles as it is."
Even if he seemed as if he was talking to himself in the long run, he sure was saying it awfully load to be noticed by Jack's ears should he be listening at all. She was, after all, a Nightmare. They had thumbs... right?

Jack turned, a false cheerfulness upon his little muzzle as he lifted a paw to wave at Destin.
"Then I bid you good luck, good bye, and every other kind of good parting so long as you are on your way mate."
Stop him? Oh no no no...if anything Jack was far more cheery to see the other dream off and away. Even with the dropped hint of thumbs on a lovely curvy shaped individual. Jack had his mind set on something, and even rum itself would have offered little temptation...no wait...that was wrong...a lot of temptation that might have won out if it weren't for something already burning in the back of his mind.
With a twitch of his tails, jack quickly pressed through the ferns, and started at a gentle lope towards the cove. It was time to reclaim what was his!

Unpursued by the other dream, Jack proceeded in a flirty frolic of a manner despite the weariness that caused his joints to ache. Just a little further...a little further...
Light flooded the area before him as he broke through some tangled brush. Standing now upon loose white sands, Jack stood with a loving awe struck gaze upon his face.
"'Ello love....miss me?" He murmured towards the large dark wood ship that bobbed in a small cove. It was barely big enough for the Pearl to make harbor there. But she was safe. Protected by the tall tree's from the worst elements of the open seas. She was absolutly breathtaking.
Getting himself moving again, jack had to overcome his first obstcle in reclaiming his ship and collecting his treasure. Getting on board...
