Snow walked up to the plateau and laid down. For some reson Snow felt like she was being watched. Snow closed eyes and drifted off into an uneasy sleep.

((sorry I've been gone so long. Family vacation.))
Chi took a small drink of water and padded a short distance from everyone else. She hated the feel of heat in the air. Some water flowed through her fur and it instantly froze. She shook her pelt, scattering bits of frost through the air, making it feel colder. She laid down and her eyes closed slowly.
((And sorry it's short. My computer is freezing up when I'm trying to type.))

The Colossus  The Beast makes its Move.The small band of wolves made their way up to the plateau as the day waned. One by one, they fell asleep. Some drifting into perfect worlds, others into troubled nightmares. The sun continued its travel around the horizon, as if it was ashamed to witness the Colossus for another minute. Soon, stars dotted the sky, and dark clouds moved across the backdrop. Below, in the canyon, two bright yellow lights pierced the night. They flickered momentarily as the Colossus came out of stasis, then shone even brighter. SYSTEMS TEST The gears around the eyes shifted, allowing the surrounding area to be analyzed. The computer tested the connections throughout the body. Everything was in order. The great beast moved. The Earth shook as the abomination launched off the ground.

The canyon shuddered and shook, the noise of the force thundering through the valley. Not far away, the small pack of wolves lay slumbering, but not for long. The Colossus had made its first move, and it was time for the wolves to strike back.

Snow felt the rumble and mubled softly, "Stop snoring!" She yawned and streached slowly rising to her feet. She looked around, her head hung low towards the ground as if Snow was still asleep. She looked around slowly and saw Colossus. "HOKY CRAP!!!" She yelled jumpping backwards and growling. Her fur bristled as Snow beared her fangs at the monster that stood before her.

Vakia's body bounced. She opened her eyes groggily. The morning hadn't even completely come yet, the sun not even peeking over the horizon. Her eyes adjusted as she blinked the sleep from them. She saw Snow, her hair all on end, snarling at something. She lifted her head, snapped out of her sleep completely, and sparks flew from her coat. Her golden eyes could now see what Snow was growling at. A little ways off, something huge had risen out of the canyon. It's silhouette pierced the sky with it's grotesque form. The female's stomach dropped. This being evoked a horror in her, something she'd never felt before.
She rose and squinted, trying to distinguish it's shape. Her eyes widened with fear. It was huge, humanoid, it's head reaching higher than the plateau they were currently on top of. Her ears went back and the sparks from her pelt took on a slightly blueish color. She looked at the just rising wolves around her. "Wake up!" she yelled. "There's something here!"

Ryu~
Ryu lay there on the ground sleeping. His eyes shot open, when the ground began to shake. He was not really happy because something woke him fro m his sleep. a yawn escaped his mouth. When he turned around his tiredness seemed to fade away form him instantly. His tail raised and was bushsier than normal and he bared his teeth. He looked over at Valkia "what do you want us to do?" he growled standing there waiting for her to tell him what to do. It seemed that this thing wanted them not to be there at all or in its presence.

The creature in the gorge was mind-boggling large. It's bright yellow eyes shone even in the brightness of the morning light, filling Vakia's stomach with an overwhelming sense of dread. She backed up, her paws sending tiny pebbles skating across the rock and into the gorge below accompanied by a smattering of sparks from her fur. This thing is....so wrong....it doesn't belong here.... She shook her head, her golden eyes watching the slowly moving creature intently.

The Colossus The Beast makes its Move.Gears whirred at blinding speed in the head of the Colossus. The systems test confirmed that the beast was indeed fully operational, ready to begin executing it's objective. DESTROY The sensors atop the head of the beast searched the area quickly. SEARCHING...... ORGANISM IDENTIFIED Several organics were spotted by the sensors, deep inside the body, muscle and machine ground together. TARGET ACQUIRED. The Colossus lifted its massive club, sculpted of the wreckage of its Enemy from the ground. The shear force sent deep sound waves through the air, loosening dirt and rock around it. Once it had been lifted to its shoulder, ten holes opened in the beast's weapon, revealing deep tunnels inside. From inside the compartments, a blinding blue light flashed. Machine dogs, limbs folded to their metal bodies, exploded from the creature as projectiles. Their legs flew out and their gruesome snaggle-toothed grins revealed a sickly purple colored smoke as the Doom Dogs advanced through the sky toward the band of wolves.
