exdraghunt XxVenomForFree exdraghunt Our trombone section is all guys, but over here the entire Tuba section is female. Take that! how is that possible the Tuba section should be guys wow that is a first time i hear of that and what school is that It's possible because Our school is awesome like that. When I joined, the tuba section was 3 girls, 3 guys, now it's all female. I'm at Arlington High in Washington. Not over here it is all guys 11 Tubas not a single girl at my high school in Mercedes Texas

My trombone section is 2 people: me, and my band captain, who is beautiful. and she's pretty good at trombone (I think I'm better, but she is really really good.) and last year, we has 3 trombones: me, my band captain, and another girl who made a very difficult honor band when she was in 3rd grade.
So, I've always been outnumbered. Next season, I might be the only trombone at all. DX

We have way too many people in our band (I think we're marching around 230?) for me to get exact numbers, but I'll estimate. =P
Flutes: Mostly girls, with 2 guys. Clarinets: Pretty even amount, but a few more girls. Alto Saxes: More guys then girls. Tenor Saxes: All guys. Trumpets: More guys than girls. Horns: I think there are a few more girls, but they've always been pretty equal. Trombones: More guys, but a fair amount of girls. Baritones: There's 1 girl and 6 guys. She is the section head though. Tubas: 2 girls, one of them being me, and 5 guys. My fellow tuba girl is the section head, lol. Percussion: More guys than girls, but there are probably a lot of girls in the pit then I know of. But our marching percussionists have more guys.
