"I find it hard to believe he ever walked a plane other than this one, honestly. His mere existence was proven within human characteristics, not his own. He is what humanity has made of him, and in this day and age he honestly pails in comparison to what would be Creationism. Proof or not, man will believe what helps man sleep at night. I haven't, since his emergence, believed his is as he says he is. He is no more than what we've seen: Another monster with grand power, though he's symbiotic unlike most of the us freaks. He relies on human hosts; willing, evolving beings to chauffeur him around." He'd look to his right arm while exhaling all air and cease breathing. "Do not replicate this...transformation. Do not EVER attempt it...or I promise you that little girl with the title of Death will be reaping you."
The flesh currently visible on him would seem to slowly fade, not from existence or in color, but onto a separate plain. It would become semi-transparent, though one could still point out each appendage. His clothes would drop to the floor though he'd not be naked, instead sporting a violet trench who's bottom hinges seemed torn and roughed, blowing in a wind that wasn't there. His chest would remain hidden behind a black vest, his pants now, while still black an loose, would be tattered and torn. His feet would shield themselves in old leather boots and his gloves would come to cover all they could on his hands, only his claws piercing through. He'd grin to show nothing but pointed teeth, fangs a bit longer now and arch his back to allow the demonic wings of a fallen angel to rip through the coat, feathers falling from what should have been the membrane of skin most demons or hell, even bats possessed between their skeletal wings. His hair would tie itself off in the back, not in a tail of any sort, just a violet ribbon to keep it all together and out of his face. And still every bit of him seemed as if it weren't on the living plain. His wings would spread wide as he moved to create a throne on the new plain he was in and take a seat upon it, special groves made in the arms and back of the chair for his wings. He'd look to Annette with black orbs with violet rings, his pupils now sporing the transmutation circle for one pupil and inverted pentagram for the other. He'd let out a deep breath, though he wouldn't actually let anything out. His voice would switch to that of the one people heard in their minds when he spoke and he'd laugh.
"This is who I really am, or rather what I really am. From what I was told this is the form of the 'Celestials;' beings who aren't Angels, Demons, or anything of the sort, but rather beings who have evolved beyond the need for evolution. They...we, I suppose, exist on a plain between the astral and the living, a nexus of sorts that allows us access to both. As I am I have an unlimited amount of energy as both the astral and physical plains feed me and my power is beyond measure. I've kept myself restrained within a shell to at least give myself the feeling that someone, someday, like Vance, could actually do what Vance did to me...but I am reminded of how I loathe to lose. It's that exact loathing that allowed me to transcend into this form with the help of an old mentor." He'd begin to laugh and shake his head, then look to Annette again. "Of course I killed him shortly thereafter. According to him, only a Celestial can kill a Celestial as we are the only ones able to live within this nexus; that posses the power to harm us. But he was wrong. I feel stupid calling myself a Celestial, but I've no idea what else I may be. But in this form, released from all shackles, even Raziel would have a run for his money." Again he'd laugh. "And what would a mortal do!? Pierce my heart? Puncture my lungs; cut a tendon?" He'd literally rip his chest open to reveal nothing but energy flowing about. The wound would close on his own and he'd grin. "That same mentor scolded me for choosing to keep a humanoid resemblance in this form but I'd rather not just move about as some psychic mass of energy and other unknown goodies." He'd fold his arms and smile, then lean forward towards his sister. "What if he lies, Annette? What if he is some avatar that is indeed supposed to resemble evolution, but his obliteration would not hinder the humans race? If this were the case...what reason would he have to live? To become the next Raziel? I don't know about you, but I don't like having one God running around...two would be more than a headache."
(( Trigun had big guns and Legato, who I've always seen as some form of Kain. Especially the voice. Kain's "telepathic voice" now and forever will be that of Legato Bluesummer's, Leader of the Gung-Ho Guns and 10x the badass in the Trigun: Maximum mangas where Knives wears armor and keeps Legato in a straight jacket most of the time... ))

Annette watched in pure curiosity as her brother went through another transformation, one she'd been curious about asking of, but was, quite honestly, afraid to. She had to admit she was impressed with the new form. She'd listen to his explanation and nod once he'd finish. "Thats true I suppose." she'd pause to think. "I wonder. If he is evolution in physical form, would the SCPs disappear with his death?"

His transformation would slowly continue; his clawed fingers would encase themselves in bone to a point, like the sharp pointed link on a clawed gauntlet, or one of those finger rings that makes it look like you have a metal claw. Though his weren't looks, nor metal, but bone that one it had stopped forming into that full-finger claw with jagged tops, would turn black. "I doubt it. You do raise an interesting point, though. What if Spiral, himself, were no more than an SCP? True be it he possesses mass power, more than most SCP, though have we not given Death the brand of SCP? Spiral tries to say this and that, and yet in the end, I believe there isn't one, but several avatars of Evolution, and those are the SCP. To contain that evolution is to take control of the natural flow of what we may call Fate; to bind it so that the Overseers may study it and allow themselves to evolve while exterminating those that would threaten their transcendence to the top tier, that which I sit upon; that Raziel and Zadkiel sit upon...that Lucifer and old friends sit and sat upon. What they do not realize is that evolution will never end, and if it did, the world would end as mankind would be driven mad knowing it could not aspire to anything else. It would begin to revert; a fail safe of evolution should mankind reach such a limit. Mankind would revert to their primal ways and act upon instinct, and in the end they would destroy the majority of themselves...and then the cycle would begin again."
He'd shift his head to look at Dread. "Man evolves and grows wings. Man's limit is no longer the sky. Man regenerates and life expectancy sky rockets. But, once we can litter and destroy the skies, and once we're all able to fight and live for ages and completely overpopulate the planet...what will happen? The failsafe. The SCPs are all unique, though they all show different paths of evolution, but this world is far too small to house so much evolution. Yet those like the other Overseers would try to act with valor; like martyrs and take on the dark task of suppressing these individuals...while in reality, they themselves are jealous. My name is kept out of books, records, history...to remember and know me is a whisper of the Apocalypse to the world. If the world's inhabitants knew me, they would try to aspire to what I am...like Spiral, like Vincent, like Zadkiel...and to a lesser extent, like Hitler, like Stalin, like Napoleon, and so many others hidden in the annals of history. Scientists...madmen. In a sense, this world was better left under Raziel's influence than that of Evolution; when man could not explain things man was far more quick to act upon bloody instinct, yes, but man was unable to destroy one another from across the globe with such ease; unable to create and spread plagues as I did. They were not able to build weapons that threaten their own world."
He'd look back to his sister and laugh. "Man's body is ever changing, yet the majority of their mind remains dormant. Those who's minds evolve only evolve to a specific point, and those that try to learn, and study...they're only opening doors not meant to be opened. The monks of the world that learn to go with the flow of their surroundings and open their minds to infinite possibilities...those are the individuals ready for evolution, but they will NEVER evolve...Evolution takes its course because the body adapts, and these individuals allow themselves to adapt to the world entirely. In doing so, though, they know a peace and prosperity no scientist could ever dream of; that I could never know. The monks of Tibet and Nepal; those of Japan and China that still worship the elements...they transcend Evolution, or rather the physical needs because instead, they leave their minds open. Each and every SCP is proof that the human race is having to adapt to its surroundings, and in my studies I asked this: What has forced them to take one this power; what is forcing them to adapt to...manipulate the shadows, to live forever, to reach into other's minds."
He would disappear form his throne and appear across the room at the window in the same moment, an after-image of him on the throne very slowly fading, light particles still mirroring what had been left behind. He'd place his clawed hands against the window's stone frame and grin. "Zadkiel wants to revert man back to their primal stages in order to sort them out; to allow the strong to triumph and the world to be his...for whatever purpose. Spiral wishes for mankind to worship him and evolve...in the end, their goals would lead to the same path: Destruction. Zadkiel's is much, much quicker. Spiral, like a child who's mind is evolving in learning the stove is hot upon touching the flame, would rather learn the hard way that forcing and hastening evolution is deadly. He has even brought back individuals of old to help him...but tell me, what would Nobunaga Oda, the Demon King...know of biochemistry? Spiral has distorted and upset the balance of the entire world; was it not overpopulated to begin with? No...the dead must not be allowed to walk freely. Spiral must not be allowed to force humanity to destroy itself. Spiral must not be allowed to intimidate anyone...mankind must learn to fight its own battles once more. If mankind MUST have God; if mankind MUST have Spiral...then mankind MUST be destroyed."
He'd twirl his index finger around, a minor gesture causing the clouds above his country to swirl and agitate. The clouds would seem to implode and reappear as black masses, though the masses looked more like fog than true clouds. Rain would begin to fall, though it wouldn't be wet in the least, but rather a light dust. He'd turned the clouds into miasma, the rain into the plague it carried. "A country that worships the Unseen and the Dead...I can think of no better place to begin." He'd turn to face his sister, black tribal markings having formed around his eyes. "For so long I've tried to help, but that's not what I am. I'm something that should not exist; proof of why man should not be allowed to continue down the path its on...MY path...this plague will eliminate whatever powers they may have and devour whatever gene produces their ability to use; to have these powers. The more it destroys and corrupts, the further it will spread and that whisper of the Apocalypse will turn into a cry." He'd snicker a bit and shrug. "I also tainted it with everything one would need to catch pneumonia. The more fear they produce; the more aggression that rises, the quicker the disease will rid this world of them. Those void of fear and its offspring emotions will feel nothing. Not for now. You, Annette...what will you do? Another plague is upon them, and if you insist on playing doctor once more then I'll provide you the tools to cure them. But, my dear sister..."
He'd appear next to her, one large claw atop her head. "What did they do to you, Annette? What have they done for you? Hell, what have they done to themselves!? Do their actions not deserve proper consequence? And what have they done for themselves? Are their sins of Sloth, Greed and Pride to be ignored!?" He'd remove a section of the castle wall within his own room and allow her to see the people struggling. He'd have a sadistic grin on his face all the while. "I'm forcing them to just end their miserable lives now and be done with it; freeing them from their inner torment and writhing pains...should they wish for that release. Think long and hard of what you want to do, Annette...and know I am not playing God. I'm taking it upon myself to be the Devil they all need to know and blame, less they blame themselves...God forbid." He'd laugh at his pun and move to the edge of the broken wall, his wings spreading wide. "They must learn to fight for their own reasons; to look inward and to draw from themselves and one another. Not to science, or God, or sin...if they are to survive, they must allow themselves to revert back into human beings rather than sheep and monsters. They must be ready to open their minds...or they will all die." And ever so nonchalantly he'd turn to Annette and shrug. "I couldn't care less if they fail or succeed. I merely wish to join in this rat race. And you?"

((You have a point....So to save myself the time of having to read a post that outdoes your best thus far (even reading such a trophy would be quite fun) I haven't had a lot of time lately. SO! Summarization it is!))
"Honestly, with beings like yours, Zadkiel, and Raziel around. I'd be surprised if the human race didn't try and evolve. It's basic biology that all living things are directly affected by their surroundings. When your surroundings are things that could wipe you out with nothing more then a thought, your genetic material adjust through teh years to occupy this." She'd explain. Spiral did in fact enhance the ability to allow the evolution of humans, but her brother had a point too.
The thoughts would vanish as Kain started to talk about the people of Romania. At the mention of her playing doctor she'd raise a brow. Her question went unasked as he ripped a hole in the wall. "There's a fine line between teaching a lesson, and masochistic amusement." she'd gesture to the tow, though her reaction wasn't one of anger or sadness. She'd scan the ground, and teh towns people. "With this sort of sickness you're not going to be left with much kingdom to rule....and you seem to be giving the new death a run for her money." she pointed to teh woman with the scythe that was making her way down the street. It wasn't until Annette watched more carefully that she realized something. "I take that back, she's not overwhelmed, she doesn't seem to care at all. She's walking by the dead as if they're not even there.....and she's headed this way."
((In all honesty the only thing I cut out was a larger portion of human evolution that I had to dig through a bunch of old old reports for. Just when I thought I'd put my thesis to actual use xd ))

"Humans evolve on instinct, at least in most cases. You're right; when mankind is faced with a threat they tend to try and evolve to adapt to that threat. Sadly, their form of evolution usually came in some form of weaponry; a stick to a spear to an addle-addle to flaming sticks...and now we have nuclear warheads all about. Mankind itself hardly evolves, and that it's begun to at such a rapid pace it's creating chaos. With Spiral's death will at least come a bit of a decrease in the evolution." He'd then shrug and look to his sister with the same grin. "I can't say I give much of a damn about a kingdom anymore; war's not waged like it once was. The only reason I ever loved to rule was to sit on the board as he kind and play infinite games of chess in the end. I loved seeing just how smart I was compared to the enemy...but who am I supposed to target? Kim Jong-il? Barrack Obama? Hm. Helicopters, tanks. Missiles n' bullets. Nuclear weapons. I have nothing to fear from this world...not even its super-human SCP population. I'd rather just torment them, really...as you said: Masochistic amusement, though it will or rather is borderline sadomasochistic."
He'd look to the girl and laugh, watching dispatch the dead with ease. "I'd hope that she could deal with some plagued villagers and their miserable souls! If little miss SCP wants to do her job then I'm not going to stop her...though I wonder what she thinks of your kind? Vampires, that is...you live, but your dead...an oxymoron, though I never believed vampires to be undead. If you're, well, living, then you're alive. Just because your heart may not beat and other organs may not be of use or work differently hardly means you're dead. It's just another form of evolution! Well, it's honestly a virus, but a good one! Still, Death tends to try and haunt what it deems Undead. And I must admit, I would love to hear what she thinks of me...those with the power of Death as an avatar always say the most profound things to me. Notice I'm not dead." He'd wink to his sister and move back into the room. He was a bit concerned Dread wasn't waking the hell up, but she wasn't dead either. "Sadly, you and I may not meet Death! Those we banned from this doomed little piece of Eden have come back, one taking residence in my own castle! But as always, I am far too intrigued to interfere. Doesn't the curiosity pull on you as well?"
(( ::Smiles happily and keeps metaphorical sword sheathed:: At some point I know I'll wake up to something that'll require a fresh pot of coffee or a good amount of tea. You're much better than I am with summarizing; I didn't like the teacher telling me to "summarize" anything because I'd repeat all of it...then, as I often do (thank God I have these posts to re-read) I forget whatever I just said. It's like, if I say it then I'm allowing it to just slide from my memory. I HATE it. LOATHE it. CURSE it. And I'm rambling again... ))

"To be quite honest, my mind has been buzzing with a few things." She'd offer a smile, though it was small. She'd look to dread then reach into her pocket, pulling out a small vial of teh milky white liquid she'd injected Kain with before. "This is the last that I have until I get time to make more, and that takes a few weeks. If you think it'll help her recoop, I can give it to her." she set the vial on the table and look back at her brother.
"I'll have to make more anyway, as I plan on using it to make Feigns new eye, which I already have worked out in my head." she tapped her temple then was silent for a moment. "Death's downstairs with the gunslinger, something of a lovers quarrel it sounds like. I'm assuming teh gunshot was Lucian taking a shot at the avatar."

Thanks to his eyes "activating" he was able to see the entire event play out. The only reason he didn't keep them "on" all was because it sometimes confused him as to where exactly someone was. His eyes were relatively new powers, both of them...rather ironic given Feign was working on getting normal vision back in just one. Still, Kain would erupt with laughter as he watched the events play out, amused like he hadn't been in decades. "Their self-pity is endless; the girl seems to care for him and what she'd done for him, yes, but the true despair comes from fear of what she's done and it's actions! The boy sees her position, but also sees through her idea! He knows her actions would of lead to the same thing she tried to help him escape! Such anger and loathing, pity and sorrow, fear and...I love this word; DESPAIR!" Again he'd roar with laughter, the tone of his voice becoming something like that of The Lord of Darkness from Legend. One could actually see the negative emotion feeding into him now; swirls of black would wrap around him and seem to enter through his neck and wrists. Once the serenade began, though, he lost interest.
"There is a laboratory here, though I'd suggest you keep an escort when traveling to it or using it. No...I do not suggest, I most definitely insist. I have a work in progress down there and I've neglected it for a long time...by accident, of course. But nonetheless it would be a shame to lose you to it..." He'd shake his head at the thought and turn to look at his sister again instead of looking at the floor as if it were a television. "She has several broken bones, a few fractured, and a couple completely shattered. A collapsed lung as well, or had one...she was able to regenerate that; I think her body primarily focused on it. She has a few discs out of place in her back and part of her mind, or more correctly her brain, is trying to work on a separate frequency than the other half. I do have healing powers, though they are rather weak...I've sacrificed them for more productive abilities. So, I'll leave her recuperation in your hands...what do you need to make the regeneration-enhancing drug?" His voice had long since returned to its low, mellow and even charming while still extremely threatening tone.

She'd listen in interest at what was playing out downstairs. Part of her wanted to go sit and watch for some reason. She instead turned in curiosity to teh idea of a lab somewhere in the castle. "That would be very helpful, thank you." she smiled and then picked up the vial off the table before going to Dread.
As Kain asked her about the liquid, she'd already move to draw it into a syringe. "You and Feign both call it a drug, but a more appropriate term for it is an extract." she explained. "It's literally a concentration of the healing agent in vampire blood. So, what I need to make it is just that. Vampire blood. One pint makes three of these." she held up the small vial. It was about a teaspoon. She moved next to inject Dread with the syringe.

"A pure vampire is difficult to find. My blood is...has been tampered with beyond anything that could be made useful as...an extract. My blood, potent as it is, would be of no help. Their blood is merely a synthetic material with bits of my own blood flowing through them." He was speaking slowly and clearly, though his attention was back on the floors. Unterkiel's arrival and capture was not something he'd foreseen, nor the mercy of Raziel. His lips would pull back as he watched, listened, took in Raziel's sympathy. The black aura that fed him would quickly diminish at which point each sharp fang in his mouth was clear as day with his furious scowl. The more he spoke, the deeper his voice would grow. "We've no need to worry of angelic interference, though the two-man army of Death itself has become something of a problem...to deem me unworthy the title celestial!? Raziel's blood will ebb and as I drink every last tiny little drop this world will be ANNIHILATED!" He'd rise from his position and put out a power output twice as strong as what Raziel had displayed to put Dread in her state, causing her bones to crack and shatter even more; her body to struggle to live on.
He'd turn to face his sister, anger swirling about him. "The main foyer; place your hand into the fir and remove the third log back from the first. In doing so you will open the pathway to the laboratory through the fire itself. All you need do is touch it and you will find yourself there...and mind the beast in the cage less you, as I spoke before, wish your life to end much sooner than later. Murasame will protect you from the creature's...reach. Do not listen to it, and do not feed it...do not touch it; do not cast upon it spells or use powers. Ignorance of it will be your bliss, curiosity your undoing! Everything you could wish for will be there, and should you need a fresh sample, such as a pure-blooded nosferatu then you only need say so. Faust will obtain for you all you need...consider him your personal assistant."
His gaze would return to the floor and he'd nearly roar in anger. "Death is not Light, nor is it Darkness...it is Entropy! It is beyond my reach...no. The moment I show such cowardice is the moment I admit defeat." His eyes would switch to his sister. "I'm going to deal with these remained intruders; I will take our...inevitable discussion...to a separate realm. Communication with me will be impossible, but they will be trapped with me. I can trust you to do your work without my presence, correct dearest young sister, my final prodigy?"

"I used my blood last time. I shouldn't have any problems using it again, but I welcome Faust's help." she nodded and stood from teh bed as he explained that he'd be leaving. With a sweeping motion she'd bow and then stand to face him. "Hopefully, my work will be done by the time you get back. I thank you for the use of the lab and Faust's help once again." She'd offer her smile once more. "Things will be fine in your absence."

"I'm placing all of my trust and faith in you. And never bow to those that are not superior to you...while the rest of the world may be forced to bow before me my sister will not as she is equal to me and I'll accept no argument." About halfway into his words he'd actually left, his afterimage still speaking until it would finally fade.
"There exists a much easier way into Holle than he described and I suggest we take that route, unless you honestly want to go through the fire. True be it the fire will take you directly TO the lab and my way to an entrance of sorts, my way will also introduce you to...it. A guard of the laboratory and a failsafe should the creature he warned you of...get out. If you were to take the direct route, this guardian would give you quite a bit of trouble that could all be avoided should you follow simple protocol. This is merely a suggestion I wish you to take to heart and my no means instruction." Faust, his voice almost mechanical, has appeared next to his resting sister. His pure white eyes would gaze at her through his mask of black and white, his blue and white robes moving to adjust her pillow and blanket for her. He'd look to his aunt and bow a traditional gentleman's bow and then drop to one knee and bow once again, his thick black hair falling over the black side of his mask. "The choice, of course, will be honored and you will be safe. You are not only my superior in several ways, but my family as well...I am here to aide you, not instruct you. You are to instruct me; I ask you please keep this in mind."
