I would like to do a really enticing contest. mm~
Of what, I have no idea. The whole.. idea making process isn't something I'm really good at. *sigh*
But if we send a letter out to our members, saying that.. each one who joins in the contest bumps up the prize amount (if we do gold) by a certain amount. (such things could be talked about later, please talk to me about funds.)
Uhmmm. OH. And we could also, along with the contest, have certain requirements, other wise they could be like.. disqualified? Like, they would have to.. over the course of however much time we hold the contest visit a certain number of times to the guild (being lenient and small on this number since people do have lives outside of gaia) but also having them need to make a certian number of posts (also based on the length of the contest but... the number of posts required could be much bigger than the number of times visited) Ah... depending on how big such an event would be a few mods would be necessary to be checking dates and numbers of posts and other such things.
But if the idea was pulled through, we might be able to.. for at least a time being, get more activity in the guild and maybe coax some members to keep coming back.
Just. A random thought that happened to float by. Let me know what you think.

Okay, Kira, I will seek Madralyn's opinion on this. Thank you for it. Seems to me, we HAD a contest floating around with the person who made the most posts, etc... didn't we? And it was pulled for lack of participation.. It's possible we could go ahead and add that back in.Wasn't it called "Member of the Month" or something like that ?
