((aw that sucks! Ive actually never had egg nogg! ew I hate snow! well its pretty but its cold! I cant wait until summer!))
((just letting you know after this post I have to go shopping and then to work so I wont post until tomoro but if im not too tiered maybe ill make the other thread tonight))
Yugi looked a little hurt himself as Akiko pulled her hand away. Damn. He thought. She really was mad. He debated on pulling her aside and telling her it was all a missunderstanding but if she was mad about something else and really didnt like him then he would just ruin everything and embarress himself. "Oh... I'm glad..." He said quietly after she said she was fine. He searched his mind desperately for any idea on how to make her smile. He looked around, seeing the others getting ready to leave. "Did you still want to play that game? I'm sure I could help you get to the next level!" He said, trying to sound cheerfull but he felt so nervous and awkward right now. He could always depend on games though, mabe they could just forget about this little problem.
Tea smirked at Akiko as she came back to them. "Finally you guys came back, what took so long?" She asked her, sounding all happy with herself for making her upset.
Oh yeah, that 'little problem' was still there! That only complicated things further.
"Barking orders mutt? I think youre forgetting who's the master and who's the dog here." Seto said, almost flirtatiously before Mai returned, making him smirk. Time for some more fun and messing with Joey's head. Seto noticed Mai's chest but not because he thougth it was nice or anything. Two thoughts crossed is mind. one, Joey better as hell not look at her chest or he'll be pissed! and two, He had the option of checking her out just to piss Joey off. He decided to look from her chest to Joey quick to see the other boy's reaction before he would decide what he would do.
"Its ok, I wasnt that hungry anyway." Sam responded. She was way to nervous with him around to eat! Her stomach was doing flip flops already. She glanced at her brother and Joey to see they werent getting along. She rolled her eyes and turned back towards Atem, leaning in a little as he whispered to her. She smiled. He was so sweet, always thinking of her. "Yeah I'm more then ok..." She then glanced over at Tea. "Maybe a little on edge though." She said, glaring at the other girl. She wouldnt forgive her for messing with Akiko's feelings like that! While she was busy glaring at Tea she felt Atem move a strand of her hair and felt the tips of his fingers down her neck. She shivered, in a good way and stared intently at him, feeling speechless and almost like she was about to faint out of her chair. Her face turned a notable shade of red and she couldnt stop the small shy smile as she looked away and then back at him. "Thank you..." She said, not knowing what else to say. Then she realized she should compliment him too. But she couldnt think of anythign and anything she could think of just sounded stupid after hearing that.

[[egg nogg is good ^ ^ haha it is cold, but it makes me wanna have hot chocolate..... aw we don't have any oAo lol okes, no problem :3]] Akiko looked down at the table. She didn't like making him feel bad, but she was still upset. She looked at him for a moment after he asked whether or not she wanted to play the game with him. She paused and thought for a moment. She ended up breaking down and saying, "Yea, we can still play." She smiled a little, at least Tea couldn't get to them when they went back to the house tonight. Akiko didn't want to stay mad at Yugi, even though she was still pretty hurt. However, when she heard Tea's voice she glared at her. She smirked and said with a sneer and attitude, "Needed air, I felt nauseous." She turned to sit forward to look away from both Tea and Yugi. "You're not my master and you don't have control over me," Joey said sneering at Kaiba. He took it more as a power statement rather then a flirting sentiment. Joey looked at Mai but not at her breasts. He looked at her eye to eye when she spoke to him. "Kaiba was just telling me how good you two were getting together," he said still mad at this whole situation. "Oh Joseph, you make it sound like you are jealous," Mai replied to him."I'm not jealous...." Joey spat darting his eyes away from both of them."Well I hope not. You shouldn't, after all, you no longer have feelings for me like that anymore. Am I right?" she said. She knew, Mai wasn't blind. What she couldn't quite get was why he put up such a fight with Seto. Afterall, his sexuality was unknown to her still.Joey held his head up with his hand and elbow on the table. He did not reply to Mai and was no longer looking at her or Kaiba. Instead he was looking in Sam and Atem's direction. He felt like Mai was now a lost cause. He looked at Sam, there was still Sam. But it still bothered him, even if he was with Sam, Kaiba would still be with Mai! If she really was serious about Kaiba. But he needed someone to take his mind off of it! Since Joey was so preoccupied with Mai and Kaiba, Atem was making his move! Oh no! He wasn't losing another chance! He stood up and walked behind Sam. He hugged her from behind and flirted with her, "Aw Sam, I missed you so much. Don't leave again!" He smiled while he did so.Atem smiled anyway. "We could always go out afterwards, me and you, get something for dessert. Or maybe if everyone else is done we could stay behind and get some mochi ice cream," he said to her. He smiled when she said she was ok, and he knew exactly what she meant by being on edge. He rubbed her back a little, showing he understood. However, they were interupted yet again by Joey. His pleasant face went to an agitated one when Joey hugged her from behind. He really had enough of this. "Joey," he said with a strict voice, "let's talk outside." He pushed himself away from the table so he could stand up. He put his hands in his pockets and walked outside with Joey.Joey looked over at Atem and his request. "Yes sure," he said letting go of Sam and following him outside. He pretty much knew what they were going to talk about. Good, he had some things on his mind as well.[[Sorry if I went too far with Joey. Do what you want with Kaiba and I'll add Joey's response about it and then continue on with him outside. Sorry got carried away T.T Also, Akiko is going to get mad again, she's not forgiving him quite yet. Switching things up a bit, Joey and Atem could get into the fight first and then when they are stopped by whoever, Atem can tell Sam how he feels about her and Joey- that he's no good for her and how he just flirts with anyone etc. And she could be angry at him because of the fight and what he told her. mochi ice cream ]]

((Sam is going to run over to Atem to see if he is ok after the fight right? maybe Seto should brake it up or something by protecting Joey?))
Yugi smiled brightly. Finally! He was getting somewhere! Even if she just smiled a little and still wasnt back to her normal self he knew he had the chance to make it up to her later, just the two of them together. He would make sure to win her back and finally tell her how he felt! He wasnt going to let anyone stop him. "Great, and maybe we could watch a movie or something." He said too. It seemed like a perfect way to get all cozy with her. He blushed a little at that thought.
"Or, we could go get some dessert!" Tea piped in. She had heard Atem say somehting about dessert to Sam. She wasnt going to let them be alone! She lean closer to Yugi and casual draped an arm around him. "Sounds good right Yugi?"
Yugi was getting a little wiser now. The kiss opened his eyes a bit. He knew what he ahd to do, and that was focus on Akiko. Which wasnt hard at all considering how much he liked her. He smiled at Tea anyway. She was still his friend. "Good idea Tea, but I think we'll pass, I really wanna play this game." he said nicely.
Tea looked surprised he turned her down. What was the world comming to if she couldnt control Yugi anymore!
Seto noticed Joey didnt check her out at all. How strange, wasnt Joey always perverted? He seemed to be but its not like he noticed girls. It seemed almost forced the way he flirted with girls. Just thinking of that made Seto mad. Then Joey said to mai how he was talking about how good they were together. He glanced at her, feeling a little nervous. He didnt want mai to tell Joey that she just rejected him outside. Jeoy would surely laugh at him. He was surprised by Mai's reaction though, saying that Joey didnt care for her anymore. Why did that make him feel so releived? He got so jealous and mad durring the battle city finals when Joey seemed to care so much about her. Could it really be true that Joey doesnt like her anymore? The relieved feeling was soon gone when Joey was hitting on his sister again. He growled and went to stand up to move the blond boy away from her himself but before he got a chance Atem called Joey outside. He sighed slightly and stayed in his seat, pouting slightly, though barely noticable.
Sam grinned at Atem's suggestion. She almost felt liek they were a couple. he really wanted to spend time with her and just her? That sounded perfect! She couldnt pass up such an offer! And he kept touching her, even the slightest touch made her skin feel on fire! "Yeah! Dessert sounds great!" She blinked and looked confused when she felt another pair of arms around her. Oh yeah joey. She had completely forgoten about him. She bluched slightly and smiled awkwardly. He was ruining it! though it still felt good to feel loved and wanted she wanted that from Atem now! She giggled slightly and opened her mouth to reply when Atem cut her off by asking Joey to talk. She looked confused and worried. This didnt look good.

Mai watched as Joey got up to hug Sam from behind. It was like he was just trying to distract himself or something. And Seto, well, she couldn't quite read him right now. He was looking at Joey, probably ready to crack him across the head for touching his sister. But as for now, she got nothing. However, she still found it strange how he flirted with her. He was never nice to her in the past, then again, he wasn't out right mean to her either. But she could tell he didn't care for her. Why a change of heart now? She saw Atem call Joey outside. Interesting.... but she could already tell how attached he was to Sam. Mai looked over at Tea, Mai didn't like Tea when she first met her- she was too much of a goodie-two-shoes and cutesy. After they all became friends, she tried to give her a chance, but there was something about that girl she didn't like. But why bother fighting with the girl? She just ignored her. However, she didn't like what Tea was doing and she could tell. Ever since she knew her, she had a thing for Yugi, well, Atem really. But at the time, nobody could tell. And now she goes back and forth with the two. Sure, Mai has done her share of flirting with multiple guys, but Mai liked having a good time, not being a home wrecker.
Akiko smiled a little bit more. He really wanted to spend time with her? Well, yea she wanted to as well. Maybe Sam was right, maybe he didn't want to say anything to Tea. She was debating whether or not to ask him later tonight. She didn't have to tell him how she felt, but she could sneak information out of him about how he felt about Tea. Ughhh then the beast opened that damn mouth of hers. She shot her another glare. Akiko was almost certain Yugi was going to say yes to her request. Thankfully, he declined. In her mind she let out a huge sigh of relief. She gave Tea a smirk before she turned around forward and smiled to herself. However, she saw that two people were missing. "Huh? Where did Joey and Atem go? Are we already getting ready to leave?" she said outloud. She had been in her own little world of rage that she didn't notice anything around her happening until now.
Mai shrugged a little, "Well Tea, if your not ready to end the night then you and I can check out the night life. Since it seems your not going to be doing anything." Mai took the last sip of her martini and looked at the girl. Maybe if she took her out she would leave Atem and Yugi alone. She was willing to deal with this girl so she wouldn't bother her friends. It was worth a shot.
Atem walked out the door with Joey with his hands in his pockets. Once they were both outside, Atem sighed for a moment then looked up at Joey. "I'm not going to beat around the bush. What are you doing in there Joey? What have you been doing these past couple of days?" he said with his eyes narrowed as usual and in a serious tone of voice. Joey was his friend, but he was going to set him straight.
"I don't know what you are talking about Atem," Joey said pretending he didn't know. He shrugged his shoulders and smirked a little.
Atem narrowed his eyes more for a moment. "Don't act like you don't know Joey. You flirting back and forth with Sam and Mai inbetween flirting with other women. You MUST be conscious of this," he replied back.
Joey felt like he didn't have a chance with Mai now anymore. So he replied back, "Well maybe I'm just overly nice with the ladies. And Mai? We're just friends. She one of my best friends and I haven't seen her in a long time. I think your just over reacting. Sam's really the only one for me." He smirked a little deviously and competitively.
That made Atem grit his teeth. "Just friends? I saw how angry you were at Kaiba for getting romantic with Mai! And no! You don't like Sam!" his voice was getting more and more defensive as they argued.
"I don't care what Kaiba does! And anyway, that's none of your business! AND you can't say who I do and don't love! You don't know!" Joey said starting to get agitated with his friend.
"You don't! If you had feelings for her you wouldn't eye hump every girl that walked by! You can't give her the love she deserves," Atem said feeling his head starting to heat from anger. He took his hands out of his pockets and kept them clenched.
Joey smirked. "Why? You think you can do better? Are you jealous? That must be it. I know you're trying to interfere but you're too late! I liked Sam before you, and guess what? She likes me a whole lot more then she likes you!" Joey was starting to get angry as well. Sam was his last hope and Atem wasn't taking that from him!
[[yea, Sam should run to Atem at the end of the fight.
Mochi ice cream has different flavors. I usually get peach. Picture ice cream- a small ball of it. Now picture the most elegant dough around it, now picture powered sugar on top. It yummy! It's about texture more so then taste with mochi ice cream :3 Defiantly try it!]]
