Yeah my friend went to go see it and said it sucked. I wasn't really interested in seeing it anyways, not my type of movie. I will wait for it to come on my satellite movie channels in a few months.

Oh gosh, not true, not true!! This movie was amazing. The detail is incredible and a lot of the songs on the soundtrack are popular 1930s songs by Billie Holiday.
I've already been to see it 4 times and it was better every time. Yes, there's a lot to take in and it's very detailed, but by the second time I went, it made plenty of sense.
Overall, this was one of the best period movies I've ever seen. Johnny Depp was amazing as John Dillinger. He did a wonderful job playing him as the charasmatic criminal he was. Christian Bale wasn't bad either and Agent Melvin Purvis.
You really should go see it. It's very well done. ^_^

I cant wait to see it. One of my best friends and I are trying to find a day that we can both go see it cause we've been planning on seeing it together for almost a year now. I want to see it cause Johnny's in it and she wants to see it cause Christain is in it, we've finally found a movie both of us could go to and absolutely love just because our sexy actors were in it. It was hilarious watching the new Terminator cause I kept laughing at Christain and making a big deal about how he got super shanked by Arnold and that if they make another one of those stupid movies Arnold better be in it again, even if it is just a edited in thing. lol! So it will be good not matter what because Johnny's in it, I just hope it has as good of a story line as the comercials put on.

The storyline moves a little fast so it can be confusing at times, but it's still good. I read the book before I went and there were several scenes that they did almost word for word. It was wonderful! The book is quite good, actually. Easy to read, despite being non-fiction.

I ment to see it with a friend of mine but we never ended up seeing it so now I am waiting for it to come out on dvd so I can netflix it. But I heard that it was really good and its a type of character that he hasn't played in a long time. He usually doesn't play the serious type of role.

i loved it. it was historically accurate, and it really kinda portrayed the glorified mobster mentality that was alive before the FBI really became active and it shows so much of the struggle that John Dillanger kinda went through.

personally i did not like it at all. it was really hard to believe the story plot. [!SPOILER! end the end he walks right in to the station and no one notices its him. that was highly unbelievable. he even talks to the police working on the case!] johnny's character was accurate but not really him. he was kind of boring even for johnny depp.

Well I watched it during out winter break at college and I loved it. The music was great and they picked acutally some good actors to play the parts. I for one really liked Homer. THe girl was good but almost not convincing for the part. It seemed like it was her first movie and not very good.

I rented it with my boyfriend and we watched it just this previous week. We thought it was pretty good. We didn't appreciate the sex scene since we didn't even see it in the rating online.
I found it to be a weird role for Johnny since he's usually into quirky characters like Edward Scissorhands or Willy Wonka. Him doing a serious role was different, but he pulled it off.
Actually, I found parts of that movie quite amusing since he's all popular and not liked. I loved when they interviewed him and man, he loves to play games with the police.
[SPOILER!: When he walked directly in the police station, my boyfriend and I were like, "Whoa, is our justice system really that ignorant?" <_< He walks in there like it's nothing and when he broke out and was in the car. We're like, "Wow, this is messed up."]
