Rush is an amazing band.
I don't own any albums yet (legally pirate ), though I plan on buying 2112, Moving Pictures, and Hemispheres when I get the chance.
My favorite songs are "YYZ" (the live version with the extended drum solo), "Passage to Bangkok", "Freewill", and "The Trees".

OOHH... You cant love classic rock and not like Rush... mrgreen They are incredible musicians...
My favorite song would definiltey be "Tom Sawyer"... It brings out the best in all three of them... Neil Peart is one of the greatest drummers of ALL TIME... Alex and Geddy are also amazing too... Just... soooo many good songs like "Limelight", "Closer to the Heart", "2112 Overture".... etc... It goes on forever... cool

I now have EVERY Rush album that there ever was. Even though it feels cool, I feel kind of dumb, too, because I have the Greatest Hits and Collections, too. Hahaha, oh well. I also have this rare interview with the band on a disk, too. Alright, just felt the need to brag to anyone who cares. rofl

Rush is my all time favorite band ever. Started out when I was a kid listening to my dad's vinyl, and he would try to play guitar and sing. For some of the songs that I didnt get, he would explain what they were about, and to this day him telling me stories about those songs has left a lasting impression on my brain.
I can't really choose a favorite song or album, I love them all, though the 2112 album version probably beats them all out. Bravado, and dreamline have special meanings to me too, songs that have impacted my life by the message of the song and the events of my life when I was older and really taking the time to listen.
Also, Geddy is the reason I play bass. Hands down, no other factor to it.
I missed their 30th ani concert, but I did see the Vapor Trails tour when I was in Vegas. That has been the pinacle of my musical experiences thus far smile Their stage presence is completely magnificent, I've been to alot of concerts and theirs has got to be the best ever.

Geddy LEe is quite good, but it a whole bunch of beather band than rush. As YEs, King Crimson, Dream Theater, Coheed and Cambria, Brand X, Ayreon on some albums and Genesis.
