Wow. Our Band Camp days are much longer than some of your peoples.
Ours is free through the school. We have our own practice field behind the band hall so we have it there. There's no shade though so....103 degree Texas weather takes it toll. : D It's funny to see all the freshman show up in pants the first day. My freshman year some kid drank a huge glass of milk and ate a hot pocket before he came and threw up about 30 minutes into the conditioning part since we ran laps and did a bunch of muscle strengthening exercises.
Good times.....
We go for about 3 weeks starting August 3rd. 8am-8pm.
(: It's so fun. We get lunch and dinner breaks. Sometimes the Band Booster provide a meal for us but otherwise we have to bring our own food.
haha Today was my second day of camp. yeah i know that whole shade thing. haha but the guard get same shade for about 1 hour. (we have had claim to that spot of gens) yay we had upperclassmen wearing jeans today and they all regretted too.
