Fellow band memebers:
I have a question for all of us who have been in marching parades or are going to be in them. My question is this: what do you bring to a marching parade? I usually bring a water bottle, does anybody bring anything else? the reason I ask is I have a group of people who aren't going to necessarly be carrying insturments but will be marching band style. any inisight thoughts or ect is welcome! thankies~

So like they are with the band but not playing. Like water bitches? If they are like that i say waterbottles, a backpack to carry it in, bandana or a hat, and like a few granola bars in case someone passes out and you need to get up the blood sugar.

We all bring extra shoes... And lots of water... Our boosters generally provide us food before and after... Like I said TONS of water. We have a 120ish piece band including the guard, and we have like 600 water bottles shared with everyone...

Your welcome. I wish you the best of luck. Quick sugar like Skittles are always a good idea as well...
