this years was enchanted lol...didnt really like it but next years is smoky joes cafe since i play flute there is a high trill F in noe of the songs so yeah gonna be pretty easy for me at least...

We just had a rck show, so this years isn't going to be as amazing. We are doing Music of Aaron Copland. Its alright.

It's called Moods.
My BD was going to call it mood swings but it sounded too weird.
It's cool because we get new uniforms for it.
It's also my first feild show so its awesome.
I can't wait.
Are they fun?

I can't wait. Are they fun? NICE! We played a song called Moods for our last concert. It had 4 movements. Have fun with this. Our theme is The Way of the Samurai. And this will be the first time I'll be going on the field... if I don't make pit this year. BD said there's gonna be a feature with Drumline and Guard. Hm......

Laws of Motion.
It has narrations all throughout, and it's basically a Physics lesson.
it has a trumpet solo and a trombone solo.
Clarinets have basically the same melody throughout, and it's under everything else.
There are little low brass melodies throughout the show, but there's no definite melody.

UPON ARRIVAL....a show about the immigrants coming to america. Features the songs that are at ellis island's tour. the show starts with a trumpet player on top of the hand of the statue of liberty who playing beckons the rest of the band and cg to come towards america. the show is basiclly how immgrants start so far away then end in america. many students who speak other launges will be utilized in this show much like the Drum corp who did so with wireless mic's.

Last years show was really weird: Lord of the Rings... based on the book!!! How lame is that? Lol. Anyways, Im really excited about this years show! Its PIrates of the Caribbean! I play piccolo and we have a freaking 8 bar trill in part three! I was like Holy cow!!!!! But Ill live. We have an amazing section and a phenomenal section leader this year! Props to Joanna! smile

my band is doing Hydrodynamics and we're having our Drill custom composed by several DCI drill writers. I made a music vid with the songs we'll be useing it's in the "your bands on youtube" topic

if you do a good job at it though you'll kick some serrious butt. think about it everyone reconizes a movie not everyone knows a random band show.
