I-I'm really late. But...I don't think she looks so bad. Actually, I think it's really cool how she took her hair, and made it into a bow. That's pretty cool. And that dress is actually very nice.

I think carrying around the stuffed Kitty is a bit overboard, but the thing is...It's not like she looks like a whore. She pulled it off quite nicely, but that silly little bow was a bit strange. The ribbon part, I mean. And the eye make-up could...use some work. Really.


But I was reading what that woman said about what she was wearing, and all I can say is how horrible and insulting that is to lolita's everywhere. How rude, really.

I suppose it really doesn't matter... I do have to say that the silly hair bow that she has on in the first video is absolutely ridiculous. It suits her personal style but not Lolita. It's more 80's than 1800's.

I like that she's making herself knowledgeable to the culture of Harajuku and Street Fashion, because I think it shows how well educated/well-rounded she is. Though I thoroughly believe that she shouldn't just wear clothing that has a sensitive fan base. By "sensitive" I mean not only is the fan base for Lolita small, it's also not very educated.

The only true source of information on Lolita that we have is the internet along with a handful of books on it in America. I just want Lolita to be recognized for what it is and to take away all of the other common myths that revolve around it.

For example: "I hear that Gothic Lolita is only used amongst prostitutes in Japan." One of my best friends had been told that due to the whole "Lady Gaga=Skanky outfit" compilation, someone had been misinformed this supposed "fact."

So back to my original point, I believe that what she is wearing is not incorrect,or wrong in any way, but I do think that because of the clothing that she is associated with she should have worn it less publicly, because of possible damage on the Lolita image and increase in Loli myths.
