Phraktos' eyes narrowed at the assassin's words. He was definitely up to something, even if his words were logical and made perfect sense. He wasn't born just yesterday after all. Tos had learned long ago, that when a foe flattered him it was usually to distract him from something else they were doing.
Tos mentally cursed his jumping to conclusions..and assuming that the matron had sent the assassin after him. He gritted his teeth and backed up slightly to eye the assassin.
"Oh just shut up," Tos snapped in annoyance and then a plan began to formulate in his mind. "I may seem to be unpredictable..but that is something the Goddess Lloth likes. I'm chaotic in my unpredictability and she favors me because of it. The only reason why i thought the matron might have sent you, is because she's gone insane. Of course...you would know that if you had met her."

"Ah." Was all Riko said in response, looking at the other male with a bored look on his face. He wasn't sure why the crazy drow was saying this stuff to him, because really, he just didn't care about any of it. It almost sounded like one of those 'let me bore you with my speech before I kill you' sort of things. He had heard those a dozen times before. Once he grew tired of them he would just stop his target mid sentence. He always liked it when they were silent afterward.
And with that being said, he swung out his right leg from under him aiming for the enemy drow, hoping to distract him for just a bit. His left hand had gone just a bit behind him, his bindings now undone. He was still on alert for whatever the other drow might have in mind.

The assassin's utter lack of a response to his tirade put Tos on edge. There was something going on, and he was going to have to figure it out before the assassin could be allowed to leave.
Tos was certain that the fellow worked for his decrepid aunt and was going to cause problems for him if Tos allowed him to leave intact.
Still..killing the fellow while he was tied up wasn't very sporting. And he knew Lloth would probably prefer a more daring battle than an execution. Though..there was that unsure thought tickling the back of his mind that killing the assassin might not be the wisest door to open. He knew absolutely nothing about the fellow or who he might work for. One didn't want to bring down the wrath and fury of a rival House's matron at the wrong moment.
Phraktso sighed, and was stunned to suddenly find himself falling backwards and hitting the floor with a jarring thud. For a moment he couldn't breath and he saw all manner of white shiney things in his head. Then..he roared and pushed himself up to his feet.
"Now you're in for it!" he bellowed and made a flying leap at the assassin determined to take him down.

Riko quickly leapt back and readied some of the daggers that the other drow hadn't found on his person, and blocked the attack. Quickly spotting a way out, Riko took a few poisoned darts and flung them at his attacker.
Not staying to see if he had hit the other drow or not, Riko quickly made his escape, using his skills to get far enough away and hide from the other drow. Slinking away as fast as he could, Riko made a mental note not to let himself get captured like that again.

Phraktos was rather startled to get hit by a dagger. he had thought he had taken them all off the assassin. He should have examined him a little more quickly. Phraktos saw the darts coming his way and fell down trying to avoid them.
Unfortunately for him, one of them grazed his scalp and made him curse. Now hurting, and feeling the affects of some poison slowly stealing into his veins, Phraktos watched the assassin run off. One day he'd get what was coming to him, just not today.
Phraktos put pressure on the wounded area and stumbled off for home. If he didn't move too fast, he might just get back before the poison affected him too badly and Iztheri would be able to help him. Gods..what was the world coming to when one couldn't mess around with a drow for the fun of it?
