It looks like it's along the same lines as some Star Wars figures I've seen. Surprising that they started with Metal Sonic, as opposed to Sonic himself (maybe he's to follow at some point?).

Anyway, according to the article, the bad boy comes out on July 23rd, so be on the lookout. Think he'll look spiffy going up against my Werehog figure. XD

EDIT: From The Sonic Stadium

Looks like it'll be in the same line as the more recent action figures (like the Werehog, and Super Sonic and Shadow).

So it looks like Metal's gettin' some love nowadays. Makes me wonder what other classic characters might get revived in plastic.

Man I wish that they came out with Seedrian Action Figures or Plush Dolls. In fact, I like Plush Dolls more than Action Figures.

I hope some of these are left when I go to comic con Friday. But finding the booth is going to be a task in itself. Even if you have a map. >.<
