OOC:He'd have to have a general area of his throw which I'm guessing would be Gable's body. Honestly try dashing back and throwing something. It doesn't work too well but beside that, Gable's form would no long be facing toward Vash. The kick would cause his body to rotate anything that would hit his chest would pass through that area where his chest no longer was. His form is going into a vertical placing his shoulder toward Vash. Gable's chest would no longer be in line for the orbs as his body turned. Take note on placement then do that kick. You body is no longer in that area if you do that kick correctly. I just marked my body accordingly with markers and did the kick, to make sure.

((The context is that Vash's character moved back and tossed some orbs at your body. We're going by the assumption that he threw them at the bulk of your character's body, no matter what motion he was doing. You're taking advantage of the fact that he made a called shot in his post, which was him saying where the orbs would hit, which I got against him for. You're just "now" providing a picture of what your character was doing, which I would assume would be a side kick. But if that's so, the positioning wouldn't allow him to perform the katana slice he performed at the start, so he has to be at least be in a close enough position first to swing his sword for the knee before the body positioning for the full kick reaches its climax.
What I'm getting you for is the first part of your move, since combos are never guaranteed. They just mean your character is doing the moves "faster" successively with pre-planned reflexes, thus no thought process necessary. But with what you're trying to do, you're trying to use your character's movement to your advantage, when he obviously won't be able to evade anything in his situation. That is the combo "disadvantage", because since you already made preordained moves, your character will be less likely to instantly break the combo or his body's movement. Thus, the orbs will hit, because your character cannot actively evade the orbs, nor does he have the coincidental body placement to not get hit by them.
That's my judgment.))

OOC:I see what your saying Vin and I'm not gonna post OOC again but the thing is my body did a complete turn so that my shoulder would be facing him. There would be nothing there where the bulk was, so they would pass me. That's all I'm saying, and that's not the first time I have shown the kick, I sent the same link to him last night when we went over it ourselves, and again today. So if he sent you the correct chat like he said he did you would have seen my link. I'm posting now. But then I'll be back later cause I gotta work.

((This is what I'm going to do: since Vash's throwing was somewhat unaimed, I'm going to have one orb hit your character's chest, one hit his rising leg, and the third one miss completely. This way, it resolves both sides. Just know, Desmond, that your character will not be avoiding all of the hits because it's still a legit offense.))

OOC: It just wasn't right for me to take them all in the specified spots.
As the orbs hit the normal outcome from electric shock would take it's toll on Gable's form. Since the orb colliding with his chest would have to travel through his shirt as well as his thick leather jacket the charge would be dimmed but still hurt like a b***h. The first he felt was the leg as his lower leg ran into the first flying orb. His body would drop directly down leaving his right leg out and the rest of his body crouched on his bent left leg. In his jacket pocket his left hand gripped around the handle of his trench knife while his right held tight to his katana as the muscles flexed on their own accord. Sooo lucky murder isn't allowed... He thought to himself as his extended right leg twitched more because it took a direct hit. His ears could hear the surge of 35,00 volts coming from his opponent whom was again a number of feet away. His only thought was why didn't the electricity surging through his gauntlets set off the electrical weapon that was just thrown his way, or at least fry them? Wouldn't it kinda be like a live wire touching a microchip or something? He'd only watch Vash as the tingling died down.

To clarify a few things, Vash was positioned at a distance of about five feet away from his opponent after the retreating hop. He had also used three of his twenty electrode mines. At anyrate his opponent was mistaken to hear any hum coming from his gauntlets. The electric current was just not high enough. Not to mention the electric current was not present upon the outside of the gauntlet, no it was building upon the inside and therefore the only noise he might hear was that of the soft rotating magnet inside the generator. It was hard therefore to deduct that the guantlets were using the same power as the orbs.
There was no more time for games.
As his opponent dropped and Vash came to a rest, there was no time for his opponent to simply look at Vash. Being immobile even for a moment was good for Vash and he was going to make use of it. As he landed his feet were now in a different position. A small twist now left him in a reverse position to which he was originally standing. His left leg was now forward and his right in the rear. Now his left hand held the blade in a reverse hold position with the hilt at angled to his opponents chest slightly oriented towards the right, his opponents left side of his chest with the hilt just past his hip. Now the blade was five feet in lenght, the hilt taking up two feet of this and the blade the remaining three. Doing the math of a five foot distance between the two his opponent ment that his opponent had fallen in direct line of his blade. However as his opponent looked at Vash with the blade pointed at his chest the moment he fell However, the blade covered only the five foot distance between the two and was just short of peircing his opponents chest and damaging his left lung.
There was a catch. So far his opponent had just fallen with his left hand now positioned in his pocket, the same hand that once held the katana. Now falling from a shock like that no one could fall and completely blance themself without falling forward or to the side. No, since one hand was in the pocket, the other hand, in able to aid for support of the sudden unexpected fall, had to be upon the ground, fist balled around the hilt of his blade. This is where his opponent was in trouble. Vash didnt wait for a sigh from his opponent. He didnt wait to exchange glares with him. he didnt wait for his opponent to breath a sigh of releif that the blade was just short of peircing him. Being that from the landing he was already in position to attack, he attacked. Squeezing the hilt tightly, the blade showed off its first unknown property. The blade extended. Being that his opponent was slightly bent over his left knee, the blade, if it were to achieve its goal, would enter in at a downward angle to peirce the left lung as it extended an extra foot to pierce through the back of his opponent.
However, he wasnt done yet. The piercing was only part one of his attack. Upon the suceess of this attack, the part of the electrical charge contained within the blade let itself loose, traveling into the peirce body of his opponent. The targeted area was now the left side of his opponents body. The current released was only 1,600 volts of the 35,000 stored, leaving behind 33,400 volts within the blade with a charge of .02 ampheres present. This was the least amount needed to cause a loss of muscle control. Now, once again, Vash wasnt into killing anyone unless nessecary. Furthermore, killing was not allowed in the tournament and he wasnt going to allow himself to get disqualified because of it so he did not allow the electricity to fire through the heart, rather he directed the burst in a direct vertical manner. In short it went straight up to his shoulders and straight down towards his legs, the heart, centered closely to the middle of the body would be safe from this attack. Hopefully, this ended the match for next time he may not be allowed the chance to be as kind as he was then.

OOC:Mind giving a clear statement to the holding of his blade. Also I'm wondering how you managed to do an auto-hit.....among other things in your post.

[By clear statement being what? I said how the blade is being held. Secondly read closely. I did not auto hit. I quote: Quote: Being that his opponent was slightly bent over his left knee, the blade, upon achieving its goal, entered in at a downward angle to peirce the left lung as it extended an extra foot to pierce through the back of his opponent. By saying upon achieving its goal, being no interuptions happening to keep it from doing so, it entered in at a downward angle, etc etc. If you need extra clarification Id be happy to place a would right after goal, and change entered to enter to make it more clarified for you.]

OOC:No you read carefully this phrase: Being that his opponent was slightly bent over his left knee, the blade, upon achieving its goal, entered in at a downward angle to peirce the left lung as it extended an extra foot to pierce through the back of his opponent. makes it an auto-hit

OOC: Bishop......We already went over it, buut thanks for the input stare . And yes that wording would. I just fell alseep as I was posting, and almost lost it all too! Bad thing about Vash's sword matching the angle of Gable body was that Gable's body was side ways. So the matching of the angle along with the extra bit to the right Vash had set was more than enough off to miss Gable completely. So now Gable knew one more secret about his opponent. Gable watched as the blade was fired way past him and out of range, with light confusion. His upper body was pretty much fine but his right leg still tightened and loosened, but it was dying out . Quietly his mouth hulked a loogi of sense into his mouth. This loogi was thick and concentrated build up of acid, which was created by his body. It sat waiting. Just after the blade shot past he would use his left leg to push himself up and drag his right leg in under what control he had. As he lifted he also brought his right hand/sword hand as well as his left hand that now held his trench knife into ready positions. The trench knife was held up in front of him in an under handed form while his katana was held in the direction of his opponent but at a downwards angle. He stood slightly on his right but mostly on his left leg, allowing his right side to be his leading since he had lifted straight upward. The wooden handles of his weapons combined with padding/gloves of his gauntlets would protect him from any surges received from any clashes of weaponry, since both metal and wood were insulators. He was careful to keep watch on the extended katana of Vash that would be in front of him and also his opponent, who would be on aligned with his right shoulder. OOC:The holding style of the katana should be self explanatory, but i'm looking for a pic too.

Well this was just perfect to say the least. His opponent really only had three options. He could stay in the same spot he was, attack, or retreat to a position out of range of his blade. His opponent had pretty much done the first option. The most he got out of his current motion was an extra half foot, at the most, of a distance away from Vash. Now Vash's intellegence showed in his movements after the breaking of his elbow. Every movement he made was small, just enough to keep him out of danger or to execute a quick strike. If his opponent had paid attention, he could have noticed that Vash was merely continuously flowing his movements together so that he didnt need to start momentum again or, if it was needed to start momentum again, it wouldnt take too much time or strain him too much. Hell, having a heightened reaction rate really helped at times. Now, by some miscalculation he missed his opponents body position which caused the blade to miss his chest in an utter fail. Yet, there was no sense of worry on Vash's face or frame. This fail was not by yards or meters, it was by a mere foot, twelve inches to be even further specific. This was a significantly small area to cover and he still had alot in his favor.
His opponent was rising. The downward angle that he had placed his blade in for its attack was because of his opponents lowered position. Now that his opponent was rising the chest was no longer level with his blade. That area soon became the lower torso and the blade was just past that area due to its length. Now as his blade missed and his opponent rose up, his opponent was met with a nasty surprise. Vash used his right foot to pivot, sliding his left so that it was on a return course to be to the rear once again. Of course that action caused a chain reaction that also moved his left arm on the returning course. As this happened he lowered his left arm. Changing the height of the blade so that it was no longer in the path of his opponents upper torso but his..... right leg? Of course he couldnt dream of attacking the rear leg being that it was positioned directly behind the right leg. Or could he?
Yes he could, if his blade was about an extra foot. And so it grew. As the blade now swung at an arch to close a one foot gap distance between it and his opponents body, it extended not to the original six feet as was intended if it had made its mark through the his opponents body but to its full seven feet. This provided more than enough length for the straight blade to sucessfully hit not one leg but both in the process. Why? Because they were positioned one right behind the other thats why. Now the target could ask why would be bother to smack him with the blunt side of his sword. It wouldnt do a damn thing being that there was only a one foot gap between sword and legs. It was safe to say the contact would only cause a slight moment of discomfort in its target area of the lower thighs, just about two inches above the knee, followed by laughter from his opponent if he wished such a luxury. Heres where the surprise came in.
There was no way to tell, from his opponents side, that the blade manifested electriticy. This was for the simple fact that attack with that would have revealed the swords main ability was not executed. He would have fired the charge of electrical energy only after the blade peirced its target. Again there would be no way for his opponent to assume that the blade was anything other than a blade that could extend. All electrical charge was kept inside of the blade and gauntlets until released, they didnt surge around the metal of the gauntlets and Vash had yet to build a charge high enough for the extra lenght of his gaunlets to be used for any hum to be present upon his upper arms either. This ment unless he comanded it, he could touch someone with his charged gauntlets and not shock them. The second form of his gauntlets was merely called to present aid in keeping his arm from being in an unbearably painful state from hanging completely free. It was inadvertedly doing two things for him, keeping pressure to keep blood loss to a minimum as keeping the bone inside the skin. It was painful, yes, but thats why he was limiting to short sharp moves rather than full pivots and large hops and dashes. The most his opponent could have possibly heard was the soft hum of the turning magnet and by soft it ment that even Vash was having a hard time hearing it. Chances were, his opponent couldnt and even if he did, he wouldnt be able to deduct that he had mini generators in his weapons to produce an electrical current.
Now his opponent was in a bad position. His left hand, being that it was in his pocket and lifting to its mark would have to stop its upward travel and change its direction, to travel back down in time to stop it. But, why bother stopping the blade? It was just the blunt side right? Well, it would be difficult to get the knife back into postion to block being that by this point it would be halfway risen and at the peak of its upwards vertical motion. What about the sword? Unlikely, the blade was forward pointing towards Vash at an downward angle. It wasnt held up nor to the side which would mean his blade was above that of his opponents. Trying to parry the blow would only lift his blade higher and force the strike to make contact with the upper thigh, a little more than halfway up, rather than just above the knee. Pivoting wasnt even an option for his opponent. The only successful way to achieve a full guard would be to pivot on his spasming leg. If he attempted to put full weight on that leg before the spasms were gone chances were, hed fall. But then again why would he consider that option. It was only the blunt side of the sword.
Now upon successful connection with his target Vash would let out the full charge rather than the partial charge. The full 35,000 volts would be sent into both legs with a burst of .047 amp charge. This would be very problematic for his opponent. The damage would be more than simply muscle spasms. The charge at this level would flow through his body despite the majority of the damage being present in his legs. The surge would cause definate electrical burning to the skin was an outcome. He also would be faced with difficulty breathing. Right now his opponent was in a bad position.
Now the jug that had been rolling lauched itself in the shadow of Vash's body, hiding in the blindspot it provided so that his opponent couldnt see its location and it quickly closed the distance to its master. Now, the generators kept spinning in his gauntlets, continuing to build a charged from the rotation of the water that was now slowing due to a lack of full focus on its charge.
Charge lvl 2.5 Gauntlets: 54,000V
Charge lvl ? (0 Upon success) Blade upon successful strike: 0V
