Is there some sort of mode or setting I have to put in Photoshop? The only modes that let me use the pen tool to make lineart are the ones that don't let me make layers...-_-

PS, found an awesome tutorial, and thought I'd share it here.

I'd like to add one thing to that. Change the lineart layer blending mode from "normal" to "multiply". That way, you can draw under the lineart in any layer and still have the lines show up.

I actually found a simpler way of going about it.
First, open your art your going to ink, and go into your channels.
Next take the pen and start inking.
Remember, hold it and drag it to get a bigger or more angled curve, and hold down Shift to drag the point. Use both in tandem.
After you're done, select your canvas and copy.
Then select your sketch, clear it, and paste your ink. And you're done!
